Welcome to AXOR BARAJAS Hotel, Opened in 2009, our hotel will enjoy personalized service and modern facilities and stylish. We are strategically located 5 minutes from Madrid-Barajas airport and IFEMA Exhibition Centre, Congress Palace and Juan Carlos I Auditorium. For your convenience, we offer free shuttle to the airport and IFEMA. If you prefer shopping, Plenilunio Shopping center is within 5 minutes walking distance. City centre is 15 minute drive away. Our 217 rooms, distributed among Double, Executive and Family rooms, are equipped with satellite TV, LCD 32 ', minibar, telephone, room service WiFi connection and safe free of charge, a laptop (In Executive Rooms) and a fully equipped bathroom with a large shower, magnifying mirror and hair dryer professional. We also have rooms for smokers, disabled and adapted to welcome your pet. The hotel facilities include a restaurant where you can enjoy our buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner, a cafeteria, a Wii room, a fitness room with sauna and Jacuzzi, a chill-out room, a business centre, a reading lounge with TV, meeting rooms to celebrate any type of event and a covered car park, for 250 cars, with security surveillance.

Getting there:
From the Airport: Take the ramp onto Autovia de Acceso al Aeropuerto. Take exit 2 for E-90. keep left at the fork, follow signs for M-14/M-40. Keep right at the fork follow sign A-2/Zaragoza/E-90 and merge onto Av de Aragon. Turn right at Calle de Aragon. Turn right at Calle Campezo.

Sleek, modern, clean hotelt with all necessary amenities--and then some. For a business trip or an early a.m. flight departure, the location is ideal. We, however, arrived at noon the day before we left and it is in the middle of a residential area with no place to go and little to see. The only draw back though. Also, I would check the shuttle times to/fro the airport: I was told every 30 minutes but we waited over an hour at the airport and ended up taking a taxi. Kudos to them, though, as they reimbursed us for the fare.

This was one of the best deals of our trip. The hotel was fantastic and the staff very helpful. Free internet, free airport shuttles. The room was designed for someone traveling...lots of plug-ins and very functional.

First, the hotel is exceptionally nice with well appointed first rate rooms. Free Wi-Fi with good connection. Beautiful bathroom with good supply of things you might need. PROBLEM? Waited over an hour for the shuttle! When it finally arrived (after many calls from those waiting), the shuttle was completely filled just at our terminal. When I commented on this at check-in, I was told "one of the shuttles is resting". Hardly an apology for the inconvenience to tired international passengers.

Nice, new hotel but untrained staff. In check took long and the employee did not know what kind of rooms the hotel has or what kind I actually had booked. Shuttle service to airport is OK but not very convenient if you are going to the city. Takes about 1 hour to get from hotel to Puerto del Sol. Good price now but certain to rise shortly.
