My stay at the Ayre Gran via Barcelona was great. The hotel staff was kind and welcoming! They helped me with whatever I needed whether during the day or even in the middle of the night. My room was comfortable and very clean! The location was close to the metro stations and montjuic! Definitely would want to stay there again, if I ever go visit Barcelona.
For a 4 star hotel, the towels were very course, sound insulation was poor as i was on 6th floor and traffic was loud. Breafast was overpriced for a buffet at €15. Nice location 2 min from Metro

Pleasant staff, good restaurant on site, rooms are smart looking and modern style decor, good size bathroom with spacious shower. Quiet rooms even though on a main road. Close to metro, supermarket, coffee shops and parks. Airport bus 300 metres. No gym or pool.

We had got a very clean, comfortable, spacy room; the hotel situated reasonable close to anywhere you'd like to go in Barcelona; a very reasonable offer of an under 70EUR - BUT: do not expect any 4-star splendor here - apparently this differs a lot from country to country!
We would be very happy to stay here again!
(+) Excellent hotel in the Plaça d'Espanya. Easy bus, metro and taxi access. Extremely modern and comfortable. Great bathroom with huge 2-person shower. (-) No WiFi access in rooms (not even paying) nor internet station at reception.
We very much enjoyed staying in this hotel. The service was great. Our TV in the room wouldn't turn on and the front desk moved us to another room that was a step up from the original room we had booked. We thought that was extremely generous and were very impressed. Also, our rooms were facing the street and we could barely hear the noise of the street so I'm not sure why others have complained in the past. Overall our experience at this hotel was excellent and we would stay here again!
Hotel facilities in general good, staff not very friendly and willing to help, caused us problem with our room and when requested to upgrade to the junior suite he didnt say at least Thanks! Location nice as metro & bus station was 3 minutes away, 4 star rated hotel with small holes in the sheets, at least the cleaning lady did her job properly.Suite room nice.
A great hotel with attentive staff and modern facilities. The only downside was the food ordered through room service - a burger served with crisps was a little odd! Overall though I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was very nice and convenient to transportation. Room was quiet. Staff was helpful when inquiries were mad.
The hotel is modern, clean and very quiet. Most of the staff is very helpful and pleasant. The location is not perfect but safe and very close to the metro and the aerobus.
A new hotel with really excellent staff
Hotel build in 2007, english speaking service, no extra facilities, just a good room and bar/restaurant. Parking facilities, located on the main street in Barcelona, can be a lot of noise from street, 1 min walk from Metro and Placa Espanya, bus A1 from airport 35 min and 30 meters from door! Will stay again there if going to Barca.
