Located in a coconut plantation, the architecture is of the Mexican-Mediterranean style, colors are warm and vibrant, of terracotta yellows, brick reds and browns blending very well with the multi colored flowers and the lush, green landscaping around. The place is very quiet, away from the noisy sound of traffic of the highway yet still very accessible even by commuter vehicle. Safety and security is not a problem as it also is in the whole town of San Juan, Batangas. The white sand beaches of Laiya is 15 minutes drive away.
We provided a well-appointed hotel, a free-form swimming pool, a multi-purpose pavilion which seats 200, a conference room, a multi-purpose open court, billard and KTV room. The hotel has 7 two-level family rooms each good for 6-8 persons. We created themes for the interiors of the family rooms. We have Presidente, the suite and Viajero, a unit which was partitioned into 3 small rooms, six twin sharing rooms built around a cozy courtyard. We operate a regular restaurant serving breakfasts, lunches, dinners and meriendas.
Celebrations at Bahay Marikit are truly memorable, be it formal weddings, birthdays, solemn spiritual recollections, or outings! We can set up the main pavilion, the roof deck, the poolside, the open court, the recreation area!
Working trips are fruitful too! The hotel can accommodate up to 62 persons for live-in seminars and team-building trips. Our air-conditioned conference room is good for 50.

Getting there:
To get to Bahay Marikit from the exit of South Luzon tollways, travel time is about an hour and fifteen minutes. Drive along the newly built Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) to Lipa City, then thru the national highways leading to the town of San Juan, a small, old fashioned town, home to about 80,000 inhabitants. The church, built in 1843, is still being used and so is the old municipal building and a good number of ancestral houses. San Juan is abundant in natural resources and is primarily an agricultural area. Products range from rice and coconut products to fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood, pottery and lambanog (coconut wine). There is a coastline of 33 kilometers with white sand beaches and a rich marine life. From this town you may visit the neighboring tourist destination towns of Tayabas, Lucban and Sariaya. The Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) in the town of Rosario, a carting, car and motorcycle racing circuit, is 15 minutes drive away.
