The Hotel Baia dei Mulini was born in the first half of the 80's and it has been renewed in the 2003. The hotel has got a wonderfull position directly on the beach with a really wonderful sea view. From the hotel you can have the emotion to see one of the most beautiful sunset of the mediterranean sea. The sun goes slowly down near the Egadi's Island and that give to the view something special and magic. The rooms and the hotel are fresh and stylish. Our Cooks suggest dishes of the Sicilian Tradition and Culture. The Grand Buffet Breakfast has got an excellent and international quality.

Getting there:If you arrive to the Palermo's Airport "Falcone e Borsellino" (ex Punta Raisi) you have to drive to the Highway A29 direction Trapani. When you arrive in Trapani follow the Lungomare Dante Alighieri direction San Vito Lo Capo, at the end of the lungomare you are arrived. Welcome If you arrive to the Airport of Trapani "Birgi", take the motoroad S.S. 115 and follow the direction to Trapani. Lovely Hotel in a great location if you want to relax by the pool or the beach. Lovely resturants across the road.
Beautiful location and great facilities. The price for the week's board including breakfast was excellent value. However the restaurant in the hotel was over-priced for both lunch and dinner - there was no option in the hotel to eat a snack or have a small lunch - it was a 25 euro buffet or nothing. This was the only downside to an otherwise beautiful hotel with great facilites in a quiet location.
The Hotel has been renewed in the 2003. All our rooms are well equipped. They have a beautiful and mediterranean style.

A lovely hotel right on a lovely beach with private facilities included in price. Breakfast buffet in pool area excellent. A little off the beaten track but not a problem with car or knowledge re. taxis and buses.
The hotel is nice and right on the beach. Also has a nice swimming pool. However it is not in a resort part of Sicily and therefore there are very few restaurants and bars in the area. The hotel resataurant is expensive. Stay in San Vito La Capo if you can as it is a resort village. Make sure you have a rental car.
Although the tennis court badly needs cleaning and fixing, the rest of the facility was beautiful and well-maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the rate was great! I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area. It is right on the beach, 2 miles from downtown Trapani, and directly below Erice.
The only drawback was the hotels location which, whilst it is on the beach, is a long way from restaurants and the prices of the hotel restaurant seemed to be taking advantage of this. The buffet breakfasts however ghave plenty of choice. The staff were very efficient and eager to please. As a result of us staying at the end of the season there were some areas of the grounds which were untidy.
We were extremely happy with our accomodation. The room was very modern and clean and we had a wonderful view of the sea. We would go back in a minute!

This hotel was first class and luxurious. The facilities were excellent, the pool and the beach were superb. Pool facilitoies were well maintained by the lifeguard and pool attendant who was very helpful. All facilities were good. Our room was delightful and we had all that we were promised. Location was excellent for a first class sun and beach holiday, but you do need a car as there are very few facilities or sights close by. We would recommend this hotel highly especially if the bar service was improved, but would recommend hiring a car at Palermo Airport. This proved very stress-free and in the end economical.
