Baiyoke Sky Hotel Bangkok

I have stayed at the Baiyoke Sky a few times now. I have previously stayed in a suite but this time booked a junior suite in the "space zone". The first room we had was a smoking room even though I have requested non-smoking and this particular room housed a structural section of the tower which eliminated a lot of the view and took a large amount of space from the room. I would not have called this room a junior suite as there was less usable space then a standard room. The staff were very accommodating and changed our room the next day. The only other gripe I have with this hotel is with the lifts. Being the tallest building in Bangkok, a large number of sightseers visit the lookout on the top floor in the evening. It is not uncommon to wait ~10-15 minutes for a lift which isn't full when trying to vacate the hotel between 5-8pm. All things considered this hotel is clean, well equipped and good value. The staff are friendly and helpful and I will continue to stay here when I am next in Bangkok.

level 77 has really a good view, level 84 is the highest place in the city.

ALthough this is a new build it feels very dated already. Decor is quite hideous, rooms are lareg but quite empty. Lots of tour groups from China and Russia on packages stay there so it feels like you are part of a cheap package tour with badly mannered guests. Breakfast was quite good, with great views of Bangkok. But the location is a littel bit away from the city centre - but the airport express train connects to th eback of the building which is a plus.

this is a really nice hotel, fantastic views, wonderful staff, and awesome restaurants! Only drawback is location, could be much closer to major attractions, but is close to train!

Great room; very large; great view. Lifts no problem. Would stay there again. Good restaurants nearby. Easy walk to direct over rail to airport, so cheap and no traffic worries.

Request to check in at 11am and was allocated a 2 single bed room (non smoking). We rejected and they have free upgrade to executive suite but check in after 2pm. Overall, service still good. Will book again in next visit.

Staying in the heart of wholesales area in bangkok. U can start shopping once you hit ground floor. Walking distance to platium mall and accessible most shopping, tourist places.

The hotel is very central and with the new rapid rail link to the airport, very accessable (walking distance to train station). The selection at breakfast was brilliant and the bedroom massive.

Typical average family/tourist type hotel with GREAT views and close to airport rail link. The lobby airconditioning is poor and always feel warm.

Overall the best hotell I've been to. Breakfast and lunchbuffet is a must!!

Thanks to hotel staff for free upgrate to suite for us. We had great stay here. Check in was fast, room clean, buffet lunch was great with nice environmt, we feel safe as we was given ladies floor xclusively for ladies! Definitely will go back again!

Great location in city areas and nearby airport railway station. The room is big and very comfortable(the extra foldable bed also more comfortable than others). The view from hotel room and top of the building is awesome. Just hope it can increase the channel of tv,majority in thai language.

Nice hotel in the center of Bangkok. A city itself in the city. You can use a whole day to experience the hotel. Good value for your money.

HI all, I would like to give two thumbs up for Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Hotel was great, it's located close to Pratunam Market so, you won't need go far for shopping. it's not far also from Sky train station, If you from Suvarnabhum Airport you just need take Skytrain to Rachprarop Station and it's only 5 minutes walk from Rachprarop station (crazy isn't?). totally I'm so happy to stay at Baiyoke sky, I will stay at Baiyoke sky again if I had chance to go Bangkok.

Overall a very good hotel. The room was large and well furnished. The bathroom was clean and had a seperate bath and a great shower. The service at breakfast left a bit to be desired. Too few staff. I personally found the hotel too big and too crowded, but if one enjoys the bustle of a big hotel then it would be fine.

Located just 100 m from airport train station. Huge hotel with not so much atmosphere. From top floor great view over the city. Very good selection of breakfast items.

Room was much spacious and location is quite convenient to access to any other places, hotel do provide free shutter to their guest to the major shopping complex

a woder haven for shopping paradise and the buffer is excellent to try for either dinner or lunch only exception is that the area around the lift to lobby is a bit congested due to too many visitor i will go back to stay in the next trip to bangkok will definite stay in this hotel. room very spacious ang the house keeping staff very friendly only exception internet should not be charge and offered as free wifi
