this hotel is really nice - we had a bigger room and it was very comfortable with a good view. Breakfast on top is unique. Really recommendable!
This is the heart of Bangkok! Just 10- 20 minutes walk to main shopping centers. Taxi, less than 100B to most of the destination. The only disadvantage is, this hotel is very old, but clean. Good for those who love shopping. Just crossing the road, is the famous shirt-warehouse sell center, great quality, great low price!
Have stayed here before. Very Nice.
I am just back from my vacation to Bangkok and what made it memorable was my stay at Baiyoke Suite Hotel. The Hotel is Centrally located, has good Rooms complemented by good service. They also provided us with early check-in and late check-out which was very kind of them. The stay included Breakfast and it had a lovely spread. But since we are Hindu vegetarians - we had problem with the Breakfast. There was very little the Hotel had to offer to the vegetarians except for the fresh fruits and salads. I guess if they can provide a couple items extra on their Breakfast menu - that would be excellent.
A very good lacation hotel for those who want to enjoys shopping in the open bazzars.Everthing is walking distance from the hotel.
big rooms, dated and not the cleanest in this price range, but great location
Basically a very good hotel, situated conviently. good breakfast which is value for money. By spending a little more, one can upgrade to executive rooms which are superb.
Very poor state, broken tiles in the bathroom and roaches on the floor. Nice clean bed though, and one free water and coffee, and swimmingpool.
Apart from the location & pricing there's nothing good about this hotel. The bathtub in my room was chipped and there are tiny flies coming out from somewhere. there r even ants in the room. The lights in the room is very dim. Will not recommend if especially if you have children.
The rooms are dingy and the suites have a TV in the lounge only and not the bed-room. The bathrooms were small with poor tiling. I would not stay here again.
Lovely hotel. Quite an enjoyable stay.
Booked this hotel through [website], paid $391 for 7 nights including breakfast. Not the best room in the hotel, but hey, who cares at that price. We have stayed here before in top rooms, also excellent. Breakfast excellent as is the location. 1 street back from beach, close enough to walk in a few minutes, but far enough away to miss the night noise. Right next door to the OTop night market, good value for shopping and great meals out the back. Pauline, Australia
Good value for money. Good location, nice big rooms and spacious.
Not bad value but the windows are a bit grubby. The breakfast was only so-so, lots of choices but ost dishes were only like warm in temperature. I liked the location.
Breakfast was good, location the best, but dont expect to much for that money, hotel needs to be renovated, carpet in the room just bad.Overall not to bad ,but its still far under the standards of Baiyoke sky hotel.
Great location for shopping. I have stayed here before mainly for location. Look out for main road running alongside Indra Regent (across from Baiyoke) for knock-off designer gear. Markets open everday. Hotel is clean, rooms are quite big. No lobby to lounge in however. Platinum shopping mall (5 minute walk) is good value for eating. About 30-50 Bhat. Taxi to airport cost 350 bhat from hotel lobby. They originally asked for 600 Bhat but dropped it when they realised we weren't going to pay that much. Taxi looked like hotel mini bus.
Though the hotel has seen better days, a little on the shabby side, it is more than compensated for by the fact that it has two room. This is exactly what we require as my husband is a night person and I'm not, he could watch tv, etc without disturbing me. I would state that the shabbiness could be greatly improved by a bit of maintenance i.e. fixing draws, a bit of paint etc. This is our fought trip to Bangkok and Sixth to Thailand and we would definitely stay here again, meals where excellent and cheap (we didn't go anyway else) location for shopping etc fantastic, right on your doorstep and service nothing was too much trouble.
Excellent location particularly if you are a shopper. But shoppers too wish to relax and thogh there is a large amount of space available there are no facilities for relaxation. No bars,Music, lobby area not well utilised,no adequate seating arrangements.Housekeeping is very bad and cleaning has to be requested, and then too job is not well done.Service is also not upto acceptable levels.Though you cannot accept five star comfort for this price Hotel should pay attention to basic needs of resident.Food was good and reasonably priced.
Rooms & decore are quite old & room had a distinct unpleasant musk/damp smell. Pillows were very large & uncomfortable due to their height. Staff were nice, friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good - standard full Western & Asian buffet. Location - great if you like shopping, bad if you hate crowds (markets are right at the front door). Pool area was nice & a good place to relax. I probably won't stay here again.
although the room got abit old, but very clean and big, got self living room. House-keeping come clean the room everyday. The hotel itself have wholesale and shopping mall can shop ard. Day and nite market all around the hotel. Walk distance to Platinum Square only 5mins.
