"The Balbi Hotel is a very good, very clean hotel. It's not a fancy hotel at all but is exceptionally clean and well situated. Excellent value for money. A big plusis that it is easy to find if arriving in Genoa by train - it is within walking distance. The only drawback is the hotel is on the third floor and there are no lifts. Staff were very pleasant and very very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and if you are lucky enough you may get a room with a beautiful fresco on the ceiling. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. I stayed at the hotel in November 2007" - Elizabeth Cochrane

"A very friendly welcome. The surroundings are rather spartan, but the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of room, and the via Balbi is now very quiet compared with the busy road it used to be. The hotel is very close to the main railway station, but also to the old town and the sights." - Anonymous

It is located in the central university area. It`s 200 meters from railway station,500 meters from the trade fair area,which includes the aquarium, the children`s city and the conference center and 800 meters from the ferry terminal and the "Genova Ovest" toll road exit.English and French spoken,credit card accepted.
