Getting there:We are located in front of the railway station Ge Porta Principe, 800 m from the ferry terminal and the toll road exit Ge-Ovest. The hotel is 7 km from airport, you catch the bus no. 100 to get here.
Check-in Procedure:The reception is open from 7.00 a.m until 11.30 p.m. If you arrive later please to call us When the guest is in Hotel we give him the keys of the hotel to coming anytime
Car parking:We have an agreement with a car park 200 m from the hotel, price is from15 to 21 euros per night(depends the car)

The Balbi Hotel is a very good, very clean hotel. It's not a fancy hotel at all but is exceptionally clean and well situated. Excellent value for money. A big plusis that it is easy to find if arriving in Genoa by train - it is within walking distance. The only drawback is the hotel is on the third floor and there are no lifts. Staff were very pleasant and very very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and if you are lucky enough you may get a room with a beautiful fresco on the ceiling. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. I stayed at the hotel in November 2007
did not like the 4 flight of stairs should have mention it in there advertising as for older people its too much
A very friendly welcome. The surroundings are rather spartan, but the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of room, and the via Balbi is now very quiet compared with the busy road it used to be. The hotel is very close to the main railway station, but also to the old town and the sights.
Nice Hotel, the location, even though is very close to everything, does not look nice, the area looks a bit run down... the hotel building is a pretty old one, but clean... no elevator, you have to climb a lot of stairs to arrive at the Hotel.. But, the only thing I really didn’t like was the poor air-conditioning... Friendly staff. I would stay there again but not in summer time.
It is nice hotel,very close to the train station and quite .The room and bathroom are quite good size.We wll stay for next time.
Very pleased with this hotel. The man with glasses at the reception was very friendly and helpful, and so was the older man. Keep up with the good work!
