Ballsbridge Hotel

Great hotel just down the road from Aviva stadium. Massive bar area and lots of screens if you don't have a ticket. Clean lobby area and secure access to rooms. Only stayed the one night but just what was needed.

Nice hotel, hotel room was big & clean. Best thing about this hotel is it's location. Wasn't an over friendly welcome when checking in & no addtional info. provided re: taxi, bus locations.

While we found the hotel good value we havea few issues concerning our stay 1. No hotel information pack in our room. We told receptionist after arrival but we never got it. 2. Could not open widnow for fresh air as it was too firmly secured. 3. No radio service available in our room 4. Major renovation work in main dining area which limited your options. We were not told about this when we checked our reservation 48 hours before arrival.5.First evening we ordered in the Bar a light snack of soup & 2 sandwiches which we cancelled after waiting 25 minutes. poor communciations

The hotel is in a brilliant location and buses on local routes 4 and 7 pass the hotel from Central Dublin. The Dart station at Lansdowne Road is a 10 min walk away. Had a great stay at the hotel and the buffet breakfast even though not included was good. If the prices remained low for rooms I would stay again. In fact I am booking again for the autumn.

Location is fantastic. Just up the road from Rolys Bistro and the Aviva Stadium. And a short enough walk from the centre of Dublin. Great location. The hotel it's self is cheap and cheerful. We got a great rate and were happy that we got what we paid for. The staff were friendly. The pillows were on the skinny side. If I get the great rates again, I'll be back. No real complaints at all and I'll recommend it to friends.

Very outdated and run down looking. Reception staff were unable to cope with a large number of people checking in and were very unorganised.

A large hotel just three stations from central Dublin on the 'Dart' railway with spacious rooms and large public areas. On arrival we asked at reception for the tourist information and map, which they advertise on a poster, but they had none available and the reception staff were mostly foreign nationals and didn't know the area so it was difficult to get directions. In other aspects the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a pleasant bar and restaurant, plus a small attached supermarket. Food and drink prices are costly, but Ireland is an expensive county to visit and the bar and restaurant prices were within the price range of nearby restaurants. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable hotel for a short break.

It was within walking distance to town which was nice, but also there was a bus right down the street from the hotel. Don't be fooled by the low cost of the hotel, the rooms we big and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel with perfect location for exploring Dublin city center. Several bus-lines direct to city center.

This must be the best value in Europe. Five star accomodation at 3 star prices. Formerly Jurys flagship hotel it was acquired for redevelopment, but the re-developer seems to have run out of money, so the current owners operate a trimmed down service in what was a five star hotel. Lovely big rooms and comfortable accomodation, but without all the luxury services that you would get at a top hotel.

The staff make this hotel.excellent at reception and service.Breakfast was just ok in my opinion but again the service was excellent.I would recommend this hotel.

We only stayed here for 1 night on a visit to Dublin. We were looking for a cheap hotel in a good location and this one was ideal... we booked a triple room and after initial confusion and being sent to a double room, the person at reception sorted out the mess and we got our room. Overall we were happy with the hotel for our purposes and would stay here again if we can get such a good price deal!

enjoyed it very much only thing was having to pay 10 euro for parking in hotel.

Staff were very friendly overall service of the hotel itself was very good except for food services- As I was at a seminar along with 40 other hunrgy people - lunctimes getting servered in either the Inn and the court were very very slow. Need more staff at peak times. Ended up waiting 1 hour for a pizza and having to take it to go and eating it in the car park on route back to seminar - not impressed! Food itself was very tasty but by the time you had to wait you would have eaten anything that was handed up! A special recommendation to Alex in the Court as he did everything but stand on his head to get food to us quicker and job well done Alex!

It cost 109 per night and for that price it was exactly what I wanted.

very nice hotel... walking distance to the city centre (15 min)... no problems...

Location and price very good. Reception staff excellent. Room was very nice but hair dryer was not working and as there was only 2 pillows and 1 in wardrobe asked for another but did not get it.
