Getting there:26 miles north of Belfast, 6 miles north of Larne on Antrim Coast Road. From Belfast take the M2, exit J5. Travel along the A8 to Larne, then A2 to Ballygally. Situated on the scenic Antrim Coast Road, facing eastwards across Ballygally Bay with views to Scotland, at the southerly end of the famous Nine Glens of Antrim. Belfast International Airport - 30 miles. Belfast City Airport - 28 miles. Nearest ferry terminal in Larne - 6 miles.

Absolutely gorgeous, the view from the room was fantastic, the glens of antrim covered in snow and a view of the sea, what more could you ask for.
Excellent hotel, food was top notch! Decor in reception / dining room is slightly "Disney does ye olde Castle" - but very nice all the same, and after all, it is geared towards coachloads of American tourists. Room was lovely, nicely decorated with new furniture - spotlessly clean and comfortable. Accidentally tried to overcharge us on check-out, but easily resolved without any fuss. I would recommend this place to anyone - and intend to stay again.
The bedrooms at the Ballygally Castle are full of character and charm. Beautiful, original beamed ceilings and antique pine furnishings give the rooms a feeling of stylish living in the last Century, with all the top facilities of a modern hotel. Rooms with disabled facilities are on request basis and are subject to availability.

Lovely location and very friendly staff.
The hotel is situated on the lovely Antrim coast just about 30 miles from Belfast. Our room was very spacious with a partial view of the sea and was good value. I would definitely recommend - the only reason not to stay is if you are looking for a hotel with a gym or a pool in order to burn off some of the calories that you will certainly put on as a result of the excellent breakfasts.
Fabulous location, friendly staff and lovely room. My only criticism would be the breakfast which was poor. Food hardly ever seemed to be replenished and the toast machine took for ever!

excellent staff,who made every effort to accommodate our unforseen late arrival due to bad weather. services even at that late hour were offered. plan to stay again. would highly recommend this lovely hotel.
