Baltic Hotel Vana Wiru Tallinn

Right in the centre of the old town and very close to all your shopping needs. Service was friendly. Room is basic so unless you definitely need luxury, I would definitely recommend this hotel. Good value for money.

Very centrally located, good breakfast, clean rooms and spacious bathroom.

It's not as nice a hotel as some others that have been built in the past 2 years but it's location is second to none. The breakfast in the morning is really low in variety and the area is often over crowded.

In total a very nice hotel with absolutely perfect location. Breakfast with hot and cold buffet was satisfying but nothing extraordinate.

Compared to the price level the rooms were rather small and of basic quality. In that respect my expectations were higher.

Superb hotel in a fantastic position. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfasts were typically east european and scrumptious. Service in the Vana Wiru Pub was a little disappointing. We were not made to feel very welcome and it seemed like we had inconvenienced the management with our presence (especially since we were there to eat and not drink). The cream of pea soup with salmon was lukewarm - a tin of cream mixed with mashed peas and forgotten to be heated. The barman was rude and agitated - maybe he needed a drink!

Perfectly located in Tallin Old Town with helpful staff and clean adequate rooms. Reasonably priced also - definitely recommended!

Staircase really smells like cat toilet. Sauna is not free and my room is facing a wall. But location is unbeatable, right in the old town and within walkable distance from the port. Breakfast is a bit disappointing for a four-star hotel

Stayed for 2 nights, excellent location in old town, no passing traffic and only 60m from Mcdonalds and 100m from the square in opposite direction. Very friendly staff.

The Hotel is perfectly located in the old town, with just a short stroll from all the restaurants and shoppingareas. The ventilation system is a bit noisy but not intense annoying. I dont understand why everybody says that the breakfastbuffet is all that, it was just average - plain normal with scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese and ham. But all in all this is a great hotel, and the staff is very serviceminded

Little diffcult to find by car. Small double bed. Very nice and helpful staff.

Excellent central hotel - could be noisy at weekends being so central (stag/hen parties). If ordering a taxi - ask for a standard small one - the company the hotel uses costs twice the nornal rate

A fine hotel 2mins from the old town square, you won't go wrong choosing this one. Very helpful reception staff too.

This Hotel is very well situated in the Old City of Tallinn. I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

This hotel is in probably the best location in Tallinn for tourists. It is on the main street which leads to the town square, along this street and around the town square are based all the main restaurants and bars. The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful, Rooms are of medium size, with shower (no bath), tea making facilites, Breakfast is very good with a wide choice of cold and hot foods, suits British tastes. Restaurant good, but limited choice of menu, Bar in hotel is open until 2.00am, and also serves food - excellent prices for a hotel bar.
