The intimate, luxurious boutique hotel Baltic Hotel Imperial offers the best experience of Old Tallinn. Hotel is located on the foot of the Toompea hill, right next to the historic city wall. The hotel is unique as it was built against the historic town wall in 1877 and has provided accommodation under the name of Imperial in the early 20th century. Hotel was reopened after renovation in 2003 and has gone through extensive renovation in 2008. The hotel`s interior and atmosphere are in harmony with the respectable age of the building. We had a good stay. The hotel was not able not provide us the triple room we had booked - for the reason beyound their control we understood - , but they had set aside two neighbouring rooms for us instead, which was fine. Alternatively, we would have got a triple in another hotel of the chain nearby. We appreciated the free wifi in the room. The breakfast and breakfast room were nice, and the reception friendly.
A really nice hotel with kind service in old town.
This hotel is very conveniently situated, within the old town in Tallinn. The quality of the hotel is excellent with comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast and a quality service. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Very good hotel overall. Beautiful cozy atmosphere, excellent service and superb location. Clean rooms and stylish restaurant. Recommendable.
ideal location just 5 minutes walk from the old town. Rooms are of various sizes so be aware on booking.
Its seldom you find a hotel or company or even a product that doe exactly what it says on the tin in this day and age, and the hotel imperial doesn't either......IT FAR EXCEEDS IT!! What a fantastic little hotel this is.... nestled on a cobbled street under the shadow of the castle sat on Toompea. In short, this was a very good, small, personal hotel that knows how to treat its customers well and takes good care in doing so!! The hotel is as central as you would need it with every part of the old city only a gentle stroll away, you could easily amble to the old square in 5 minutes. We had no noise issues but were here in cold january so cant comment on how the hotel fairs in Tallinns mad summer months! Other amenities in the hotel was a good bar (tried and tested) a sauna (sadly not tried) and a restaurant specialising in cheese dishes, again not tried and tested by myself but seemed consistanly busy with locals!
Lovely hotel, very close to the main town hall square in the Old Town. Good breakfast, for meat eaters and veggies alike. Comfy rooms, but had to ask for an extra pillow, supplied without any question. Be weary of the cabs ordered by the hotel, mine cost 170 to the airport, which included an unwanted roundabout journey via the town centre, when 100-120 was more the norm.
The hotel is an excellent location just a five minute walk from the Old Town Square, the maid service is daily, breakfast is normal fare for type of country but sets you up for the day and the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive
