Much better than what I expected. Large, clean rooms with all the facilities, aircon, safe, etc. Nice pond with three resident ducks swimming. Central Suzhou (main shopping streets) about 30 min walking or 15 min by bus. The Master of Nets Garden is within walking distance, the Humble Administrators Garden further away, take a taxi. Many local restaurants and convenience stores in the vicinity.
A fine hotel, modern and clean. Rooms comfortable Great restaurants and excellent breakfast with wide selection. Staff very friendly and efficient, speak good english. Would stay there again.
The Bamboo Grove Hotel was much nicer than I was expecting. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean and spacious. The restaurants were nice with reasonable prices. I would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Suzhou, and I will stay there again if I go back to Suzhou.
