Hotel Bandolero, a small boutique hotel & restaurant, is located at the entrance of the tiny, charming white village of Juzcar surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. Juzcar is located in the Upper Genal Valley, a relatively unknown area, located in the Ronda mountains (Serrania de Ronda) in Malaga; it is unspoilt, traditional & of great interest to the discerning tourist looking for an authentic Spanish experience.
The area is excellent for walking, painting, birding, cycling, photography, swimming, nature enthusiasts & other outdoor activities.
The hotel comprises 8 double rooms, breakfast dining room, restaurant, bar & terrace, art gallery, lounge & outdoor pool & terrace. Six of the sizeable rooms have wood burning stoves & terraces with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. All rooms have been decorated in a rustic style & have en-suite bathrooms; the rooms also include a television, coffee / tea making facilities & central heating; the suites also include sitting areas with DVD players.
Diners at Hotel Bandolero enjoy the ambiance of La Bodega del Bandolero, the rustic dining room, serving lunch / dinner daily, or alternatively, can enjoy a meal or tapas in El Bar de El Tempranillo or on the Terrace.
All meals are prepared by Chef Ivan Sastre who trained in both pastry & savoury cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu, London and has worked at some of London's finest restaurants including Terence Conran's Almeida restaurant.

Getting there:
From Ronda:
Follow the road signs for the San Pedro de Alcantara, following A397. Just after road marker 11K, there is a right hand exit for the Alto Genal including the villages of Parauta, Juzcar and Cartajima, a short distance before a large petrol station.
If airport transfer is required, please contact the hotel directly for availability, price and confirmation of your collection.
Make the right turn, bear left for the Alto Genal. At the next junction, bear right for Juzcar, which is about 14K down this mountain road with a 40KPH speed limit. Enjoy the views.
As you enter the village of Juzcar, Hotel Bandolero is the 3rd building on the right. Park anywhere. Come into the bar or reception and we will greet you!
Check-in Procedure:
Checking in to the hotel is available from 14.00 - 21.30 hrs daily. Arrivals after 21.30 hrs should be advised to the hotel before arrival date. A mobile contact number is requested at the time of the booking.
