Nice place/hotel for a budget hotel
The location of this hotel is close with the shopping malls and tourism central. All are within the walking distance!
Hotel in a very convenience location, friendly and helpful staff. A good choice for a buget hotel, breakfast abit boring, but cannot complain for the price.
Bangkok City Inn is conveniently located in the heart of Bangkok. Walking within minutes to Isetan, Zen & The Four-Faced Buddha. But it is a little far to walk to the nearest MRT (Rajdamri). Overall I am very satisfied with this hotel. Will definitely stay there in my forthcoming visits. Keep up the good work guy! Cheers!
Paid very little to stay at this hotel. But the location is superb. you can walk to Siam square from here.10-15 mins. There is a boat which brings you to the gold mount temple quickly, avoiding the traffic. Near to supermarket, food court, plenty of massage parlour ( not those with extra service). The hotel itself is old, sometimes the oddor is not that pleasant. but the bed is surprisingly comfortable, and aircond cold enough for the weather. Clean, but as i mentioned, a little old. For the price, you cannot go wrong choosing this hotel.
The breakfast could be improved further, but overall, the hotel was great
The location and pricing is very good, just across the road from Central World Plaza (5mins walk), and a good money changer (Super Rich, check carefully two are next to each other). And of course you won't expect much for what you're paying for. The staff is generally friendly, except for a misunderstanding I had with guests visiting, they want to charge you extra if they think you might have someone staying over. Amenities are decent. For the basic double room, (single staying). My room was cleaned and restocked each day, 2 single beds, toiletries, TV and clean towels, and a mini bar fridge (two free bottled waters a day). Central air-conditioning a little old and noisy, squeaky fan system. But otherwise ok, since I only go back to sleep each night.
The location is very good and the facilities/services are avalage. However their breakfast needs to be in better quality. Also I saw the staff making up at the coffee shop....needs to get proper training.
Hotel did not accept credit card. Insisted that we pay cash and we weren't prepared. Did not bring that much cash with us. Hotel did not provide tea/coffee making facilities and gave only two sets of face/hand towels although we had a triple sharing room. The plus point about this place is the location - very near Central Plaza and Big C.
Good hotel to stay as it was walking distance to the shopping areas. However, not so easy to locate as most taxi drivers are not familiar with the hotel. Breakfast is so-so
Meet the basic needs and conveniently located. Breakfast was adequate, but so much for choices after 2 to 3 days, but then for that price -it's value for money. Cheap eats and shoppingin surrounding area.
first all on there price list for room service they listed hot tea as 40baht, when it arrived the service ask for for 48baht, gave him 50baht got no change. very bad second they need to sort out there breakfast menu, maybe add some cerals for those that may want this. the cook does not know how to cook bacon, this was very oily and left sitting in oil in the pan it could of been drian off, people do not like to eat oily bacon
locatated right in the middle of the city, easily able to travel around by the near by located BTS train system. Staffs are friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. All in all i have a wonderful experience.
It's worth the amount you paid. We actually had trouble checking in due to a MISLEADING INFORMATION ONLINE regarding it's room availability. You cannot check in to a triple room and add another extra bed thinking that it is for another person. The rooms available there is unable to accomodate 4 people in a room. Most comfortable would be 2 persons. They compromised and gave us a good package. The people there are really friendly, helpful and prompt. Although you will have occasions of bed bugs, baby cockroaches hunting down your food, but if you're seeking for a cheap budget hotel with a fantastic location, you found it! :) it's about 3 mins walk to Big C, Central World is just across the road and Siam Paragon is another 5 mins walk from Central World (depending on how fast you walk though!). It's fantastic.. you even have stalls on the sidewalk ranging from local delicacies to a good bargain of clothes, accessories and shoes! :) love it!
I stayed in this hotel standard room in the fixed price of USD28.16 per night. The charging exchange rate between USD and Thailand Baht setted by [website] (USD1=Baht 36.5) was completely not accepted by us as it was really higher than 35 (the local cash exchange rate) or 33 (the T/T rate). Forthermore, the hotel asked us to pay in Thailand Baht, not USD. After discussion, we finally paid Baht 1000 to settle this matter. The hotel location was really good for shopping and near the Chit Lom station (BTS sky train) by walking about 8~12 minutes. Outside the hotel, it's very noisy and busy traffic. Breakfast was also accepted by us. However, its facilities were too old, such as chairs and mattress as its spring was out of function after long time usage. All of them need to change new one. Part of towels were too dark, which also needed to change. Don't ask for much service as its human source provided limited service only.
The location to sky train walking around 10 mins, but is convenient to public bus stop and canal boat pick up point.because the hotel just besides. One thing i want to said is the house keeping for the room i very satisfied. The service staffs are also good.
We arrived very early (5AM) but there was no problem at all with checking in - so we had almost 2 nights. Very pleased.
Good value for money. Highly recommended for those travelling on a buddet. Clean room and great location a few minutes walk to everything.
We didn't expect much with the price we paid, so were very pleasantly surprised. The location is excellent.
