"Great location! The beach is just a 5mins' walk from the hotel & there are many shops & restaurants outside. Service of the staff is not particularly impressive. Our beach towels were wet as it rained when we were on the beach & we had hung it out to dry on the balcony. When we went to the reception to ask for a new beach towel the next day, we were told to bring our wet towels down before they can give us a new one! We said the towels were in the room and wet & the counter staff wasn't very willing to give us a new towel. Check-out was slow. Otherwise, a decent hotel to stay in." - Anonymous

The Banthai Beach resort is very convenient in regards to location; being in the heart of Patong beach. "Really nice hotel for adults or familys. 3 pools to choose from. All with pool bars. Fridges in the room were updated every day. Flowers on the bed (nice touches). Short walk to beach to. Would diffenatly go back there again. " - Paul Johnstone


"Hotel in great location. close to everything in Patong. Building and Rooms a bit old, but ok. TV is old and played up first thing in the morning, but was fixed within 5 minutes. Front of hotel has Molly Malone pub, Starbucks and McDonalds and Beach is just across the road. Be prepared to be hasseled every few seconds as soon as you walk out to Beach road, for Tuk Tuk tours, clothes and anything and everything. Was told check in may take a while, but took about 10 minutes, and checkout was quick also. Would recommend if location is what you are after, but personally like to try different hotels to compare if i go back. " - Anonymous
