A very good hotel! Very nice staff and good standard. I would absolute stay here again!
No internet in the hotel, I considered it as a disadvantage.
Twin room for one person.
Twin room for 2 people.
Bigger room for 3 people.
The area is dodgy, but high police presense created a feeling of safety. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Nice tidy basic room.Very good value for money when at the lower end of price range, but does have a tendency to shoot up into silly money for what is a basic clean room.
The hotel is OK, although some of the rooms are very small and with the shower inside the room (with no curtains). We got one of those but asked for one with a separate bathroom. Got a bigger and better one, no problem. The staff is very friendly and serviceminded. The location is centric but awful. The frequently-mentioned prostitutes in the area don't bother anyone who doesn't ask for it. We stayed for a week and after declining their generous offers once, we could walk in peace. The junkies, lowgrade drugdealers and pickpockets can be a bit more of a nuisance, though.
What a great Hotel! Was slightly uneased with the 1 star rating before heading to it but it was well worth the nominal fee. Location was as good as good as you could ask for McDonalds and KFC up the road and a g8 subway service just around the corner. A truly legendary place within Barcelona. Would definitely go again.
You get what you pay for. Bed is very comfy. Near La Rambla and not far from city centre. Receptionists are very good. Hookers on the corner day & night, but they don't bother anyone. Shower is straight out of the ceiling in the middle of the tub. Not wonderful, but usable. Top (5th) floor is quietest, but don't get 508 as it is by the lift and is noisy.
You pay for what you get, if you are looking for somewhere just to bathe and sleep, well you cant ask for more.
very good value for money, ideal for short break, great location
Nice reception and friendly. Room was very basic. Small Red light area only in the day time just outside the hotel, not a problem at night. 2 mins from main areas so fab location.
The room was not as nice as shown in the picture online. Thankfully we stayed on the fifth floor as the hotel is in the middle of the red light district. The staff were very pleasant in the hotel though, the noise was loud as other guests came in and out of their rooms slamming their doors. The location was bad but it was in the heart of the city so very convinient for shops and restarants.
We were very satisfied with the administration services. COngratulations of the hotel stuff!
Very friendly and helpful staf. Breakfast was nice and lowpriced.
It is fair to say that this is bang in the middle of the red light district so arriving late gives a poor impression. However it is very close to the Ramblas and the staff are very friendly and the room was clean. I wish we had had a plug in the sink but I can live with that as the water was hot throughout our stay ! If it is value for money you want then this is it.
Good location, even allowing for the female activity outside, but hotel was secure. Fairly basic but comfortable bedroom with a temperamental shower. The ample, well presented breakfast made the stay worth while.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, despite being in the 'red light' area, this wasn't a problem. There was plenty of space in the rooms and was excellent value.
The strongest point of the hotel is the location. All the rest is on the adequate level you expect from this category hotel.
Nice staff and pleasant with it. Would stay again.
Lovely affordable no-frills hotel. Perfect for a cheap stay, great location next to Las Ramblas. If you don't mind a cheap hotel with no trimmings, then this is for you. It is located in the Red Light district. Seemed pretty safe though!
The price we paid this hotel was excellent very friendly, very helpfull good breakfast next time we'll be in Barcelona we will stay again
