Getting there:from barcelona airport to barcarola when leaving the airport follow the indications ronda de dalt direction A7 girona/francia. once you are on the A7 next you need to take the exit 9 direction sant feliu de guíxols. after 20 km will take to exit sant feliu de guíxols / castell d´aro / s´agaró. (not sant feliu de guíxols / santa cristina) you need to follow this highway until arriving at the first roundabout carry on straight at this roundabout. at the following roundabout, take the first right which leads you to the boulevard, take the next turning to the right where you will find at the end of the street the barcarola hotel. note: the barcarola hotel is next to the only petrol station cepsa in the village of s´agaró.

Pleasant, friendly and hard to critisize but a heated swimming pool would have been nice.
Excellent quality throughout. All rooms appear to face south and have balcony or terrace, so well situated for visiting at any time of the year. A/C efficient. Good dinner menu and comprehensive breakfast buffet.
Great hotel for the money, especially with the breakfast buffet. Our room appeared to be new or recently renovated. Very nice bathroom. I was under the mistaken impression that it was on the beach, but it was only a block or so away.
We were delightly surprised with this hotel. Great location, good breakfast and nice rooms. We are definetly coming back next spring.
Stayed in March, which is off-season. The room was spacious and had a grand bathroom as well as a nice balcony. A garage was offered without extra cost. Big luxurious buffet breakfast. All-in all very satisfaying to the a very low price. Will return.
February out of season bargain, very quiet. We had a superb suite with jacuzzi and balustraded balcony. Wonderful and comprehensive hot and cold breakfast buffet and classy dining. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, with excellent English.
Fantastic duplex suite with spa bath.
The room was amazing, it was so nice we didn't want to leave. We got one of the best rooms for an amazingly cheap price. Really made our holiday that extra bit better!
nice rooms and good breakfast
The room was fine, fitting a 4 star rating. My only disappointment was that even though the beach is very close, there is no view of it - one just sees other buildings. On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant. The half-board menu was far better than these usually go.
