Getting there:From any direction: As soon as you enter into town follow direction "Basilica de Begoña" (it is the patroness of Bilbao): the hotel is located just next to it! Distances from transportation means: 10 Km from Bilbao's Airport, underground station 100 m and bus stop in front of the hotel.

Car parking:Private and surveyed Parking and Garage: 13 € (aprox).

The rooms on the second floor were clean, spacious and light. However, there was some noise from the reception upstairs between 7am and 11pm, so you better avoid rooms 206-213.
If I come to Bibao, this hotel is sure my first choice.
You have to pay 8 Euro per visit of the fitness club on the Ground floor. Internet is free. Once you know how to go to the metro, it is a good choice to stay in this hotel.
Very nice hotel, clean, helpful and Friendly Staff. Only a short walk into the old town (Downhill). Only drawback - all spa facilities are not actually connected to Hotel and are paid for separtely and have to be booked in advance.
Myself and my children really enjoyed our stay there, the staff did there best to understand us and they were very children friendly and the Tapas bar staff were very cheerful and friendly. The only problem we thought we would have the opportunity of using the sauna and the gym but it was not clear upon booking that we have to pay and book seperately. All in all it is a hotel I would recommend others to go to and plus the reason I chose it was of the Cathedral Of Our Lady of Begonia close by.
Very helpful staff. Not complete privacy in the bathroom from the other occupant. Steep Metro ride away from the Guggenheim so not ideal for disabled people.
Lovely hotel, not an easy walk to old town but metro very very close by
Staff were helpful. It was the fourth day of our stay before we realised that there was a very good and convenient public transport system.
We visited in Oct 04, the hotel is excellent with high standard of cleanliness + service .At breakfast therewas a good selection of hot + cold foods.Our bedroom was smallish but with an unusal bathroom design , which we quite liked .The bar was fairly quite and prices average, however the music is really bad!! Its in very easy walking distance to Metro , but usually we walked into the old town.ps..Don't miss the tapas in the old town.. FANTASTIC!!!
At the top of 340 steps from the city centre - but there is a lift and the views are great.
We thought the value of the room was very good, and the value of the evening meal excellent. The Hotel was very clean, and the staff very polite. We were very impressed.
