"Very satisfied with choice of hotel: friendly, helpful staff (most of whom speak adequate English); comfortable, warm room; clean, fuctional bathroom facilities; restaurant food reasonably priced (set meal was excellent value) and varied; quiet residential location about 20 minutes' walk from city centre or 5 minutes on bus which stops right outside the hotel (1.10 euros). Only downside is that there is a charge for parking in the hotel carpark (maximum 10.50 euros/day), so this can add to the price of the stay. Parking is possible on the road, but this may involve a long-ish walk to the hotel, and there are - obviously - no security guarantees. On the whole, though, highly recommended." - Sally Poulson
"Well located - quiet residential area. Comprehensive breakfast, if a little expensive. Funky 'Space 1999' feel & furniture. Recent refurbishment has rejuvinated the dining / reception / social areas. Generally a quality experience and well recommended." - James Hartnett
