Barcelo Gran Hotel Renacimiento Seville

Very nice architecture and large comfortable rooms, probably much bigger than those in the city centre. Breakfast buffet also very good. The bar prices are expensive if you just want to drink at the hotel. Needs a little bit more upkeep.

A good hotel, close to the attraction park Isla Majica, but a bit far from the centre...

Very nice hotel, good service, access to the town is limited to bus, 5 minutes by car, dificult to call for a taxi.

Assessment is a subjective exercise. My general summary, Barcelo is the ideal venue for large groups/gatherings wanting functional and business-like facilities. Accordingly, the atmosphere, service and staff attitude is geared towards impersonal efficiency; this is not a hotel offering any local personality or charm - as with very many similar world-wide establishments. More detail: For my purposes, the location was ideal (running the Seville Marathon), needing to be within walking distance of the 'Olympic Stadium'; however, for the sightseer/tourist it is at least a 20 mins walk to get into the older part of Seville and nearest restaurants etc. Larbe breakfast hotel.

Hotel heating was not able to be regulated and rooms were overheated. Good location for visiting Seville - also good public transport from nearby - best to have a public tranpsort map though.

Excellent hotel - 5 star. Huge rooms, fantastic facilities, great restaurants and bars. Better than many 5 star hotels in Australia. Definitely worth a visit. The staff were also fantastic - nothing was too much trouble.

Nice hotel, very good location for visiting the "Isla Mágica".

The breakfast was superb - completely spoilt for choice. The prices in the hotel were good as well as the actual room cost. It was very very far out of town, but on the good side there were plenty of taxis. The pool was a vital part as the heat was incredible and we were delighted to be able to come back in the evening and fall into something cool!

Unique hotel. Three circular buildings. All facilities are excellent. The city is not very big so all sites within easy reach. Bus service and taxis available from outside the hotel. Taxi prices are very low.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions into the city center. We would stay here again.

Very Good hotel, great price out of season.

If you want an American style hotel in Europe this is a good chioce.

Excellent hotel and service.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the service was top class. It was well equipped with everything you would want. The breakfast buffet was fabulous and the restaurants, bar meals and room service were also excellent. The hotel was only a very short distance from the city centre and there were always taxis waiting outside.

The people were very helpful and friendly - particularily at the reception desk.
