Barcelo Malaga Hotel

Loved it!!! There is a sliding board from the first floor tothe lobby. Hotel is 15 minutes from the airport and next to the train station which has fabulous shopping!

Straightforward business hotel. At checkout beware of paying by credit card as the bill is automatically changed to your home currency at the rates of local bank Banco March (+3.5%), so if you use Amex you could lose up to 6% ! Another banking scam.

New, modern and convenient hotel. Comfortable beds and room soundproof. Attached right to the train station, and adjacent to a shopping complex if you need anything. Helpful staff. Small fitness centre and sauna.

Clean and nice hotel, not the best service, we ask 4 times in reception about closing our window, and eventually someone come to the room, next day... Also i think, manager in the restaurant not very nice for a guest, but hotel good for location and price.

All staff extremely helpful, giving good quality advice on surrounding areas. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent hotel! Very Chiq! Excellent service. The only thing that didn't work quite well was the tv.

stylish and cheap at the price

very good breakfast. TV channels offered were very good (incl Canal+). Wifi signal was not strong in my room, but that was no problem because there was a cable connection which made internet very fast!

Excellent new hotel that is actually attached to the railway station and a shopping mall. Conference/business facilities. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good rates. Requested nonsmoking but put on a smoky floor, requested move and got a room higher up that was much less smoky. Not sure that they have true nonsmoking rooms. Cool -hip lobby and bar area. Free cybercorner computers available, also a printer for use ( somewhat hidden in a cabinet) Free WIFI worked well in the computer area but did not work in our room, perhaps as we were on a higher floor. A short walk to the central town but would prefer to walk than stay in an old hotel with less amenities. Friendly desk staff. Supermarket outside across the street. super-easy location to catch daytrip trains out to Torremolinos and other costa del sol locations/beaches. Malaga itself not so exciting, does have an alcazar worth seeing. Would highly recommend barcelo malaga hotel.

excellent hotel for vacation to visit the beaches and the city

We were in this hotel when it was opened for 10 days. (first week of June) We could smell the newness and cleanliness. The rooms are very much designed and the bathroom is awesome,... !!! Take a shower with 2 while you are listening to music, switch the lights on by moving in the bed,.. flat screen TV, more then a great breakfast-buffet with a cook who prepares your eggs at any way you like, or even fresh vegetables! The staff is very friendly and helpfull, even if you try to speak spanish. We recommand this hotel very much and go back in September. Yves & John

Loved the shower!!!! Very cool hotel and the service is unbelievable. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They'd do anything to make our stay comfortable.

Excellent hotel with fabulous breakfast , very high tech. big & clean room with LCD TV, good for business travel & pleasure, located next to shopping mall.
