clean tidy motel , bit dated lovely lady on reception

Owner was very friendly and helpful, so were cleaning staff. We had rather a late bus time to return home, and the depot didn't open until 12.00 pm. They allowed us to use the unit, even though it was booked for that day, and would have looked after our luggage if we had not been able to leave it at the Intercity depot. The accomodation was roomy, comfortable, and an easy walk to the shops, yet we were also able to walk to Huka Falls, and the AC baths. (We are seniors) Thanks

Quite dated accommodation but the reception was high quality & very helpful with local attractions. Wouldn't take much to improve room but disappointed there were no smoke alarms (motelier dropped one off for us & I had to install it myself). Very poor heating & room was very cold all night (really need heat pumps these days). There was a very strong smell (had a headache in the morning) & I believe this could have been caused by onion pickers living there for an extended period. I would stay again if they fix the above issues but otherwise I'll stay elsewhere next time.

Great set up with lovely courtyard opening off the downstairs units. Walking distance to the whole town. The staff and service were top class. Would defiantly stay again.

Well priced and suitable located. Sure it's not 5 star, but suited our needs with 3 children. Certainly was warm and cosy during a cold evening.

Bad: Found the motel to be older than pictures on internet suggest. Furniture and fittings are very worn and tired. Good: Staff were very helpful and eager to assist with info. Close to city.

Very informative front desk staff. Although bedding was a bit uncomfortable and the shower quite basic, all other utilities in this motel were up to a reasonable standard. Location in very close to all shops. would definatley recommend this motel to anyone looking for a 3 1/2 star rating

We have stayed here on two occasions because we like to stay close to centre of town and you are only a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants and clubs. Ron Vince

I was impressed with the way in which they dealt with our concerns re a noisey group who were in the Motel. Very professional - thank you. We did book for the spa - which would have been nice - but Murphy's law this was not working - maybe next time.

Not new but recently modestly refurbished, clean and comfortable. Close to town. Good value for money.
