Barcino Hotel Barcelona

This hotel is perfectly situated it is a 10 minutes walk to Rambla and the opera. Near everything and you have the metro 2 minutes away and lots of busses. The breakfast was very good and rich could have been more fruits for fruit lovers. The room was big as well as the bathroom had enough space. The only thing is that the safe deposit was not free you had to pay 1 euro/day which is not mentioned. Takes about 25 - 30 minutes by taxi to the airport.

Not your typical 4* hotel but it is clean and rooms are air conditioned which is the main thing. The hotel is central which makes it easy for walking around to see the sites etc.

The hotel was in the perfect location in the Barrio Gotico (old town). It was three blocks from one of our favorite restaurants and about a six or seven block walk from Las Ramblas down a great street (Ferran). Close to several other great restaurants. The front desk clerk was very helpful with securing ice, giving directions and calling cabs. The price was excellent because it was a "last minute" deal.

A clean, well-located hotel in the Barrio Gotico, the old part of Barcelona. Ideally situated for shopping, Cathedral, marina. Overall good value for money.

Barcino Hotel had a very good location- close to Ramblas, subway, sights etc. It would have been appreciated if staff were more helpful/informed regarding transport, 'goings-ons', locations etc. We enjoyed our stay -the room was nice & overlooked the street Jaime I.

The location was great, right in the middle of everything! The bathroom wasn't completely clean, but the room was fine and big enough. Good hotel for a reasonable price.

The hotel was in an excellent location, in the gothic part of the city. However, at stated it did indeed have a bar, but it was never manned or frequented.
