Nice and brilliant place. Strategic. Would prefer if they turn on the central heater during my stay there as it was quite cold. However the common kitchen was a bit poorly ventilated.

Busy and noisy, good if you don't mind being woken up at 3am
This is not a place for peoplewho want any sleep ..its a party place and in the middle of the main area and is extremely noisy
This is mainly a Backpackers Lodge. As an older guest I booked a private room with an ensuite. It was very clean. The reception staff were very attentive. For younger travellers this is a great place. The location is fantastic. I enjoyed the experience.
can't fault the place really, it is a party hostel in a party town, a little noisy for us but we still had a good stay.
Very noisy because of a Pub on the ground floor. Impossible to sleep.
Discovery Lodge Queenstown, is perfect, right in the centre of Queenstown, great for the younger traveller as everything is at the door. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and tidy. Absoluately a fabulous place to stay, couldn't ask for better, reasonably priced. Great for 25 to 45 year olds.
