Bastille De Launay Hotel Paris

Large room. Not very cosy but confortable. Good value for price.

Basic, tourist class hotel with clean but small rooms. The location is quite good, as served by three metro stations close by.

For the special rate I paid, couldn't have asked for more.

Very small rooms with basic fourniture, toilets are modern and clean. I missed a big mirror and hangers for the coats in the room. Breakfast was OK and the coffee realy good. The hotel is very good situated near la place des voges at the marrais the IN district in Paris. The rates are a little bit to expensive for the service, as all the hotelrates in Paris.

This **+ Hotel is located at the northern reach of the Marais district: get an RER train from the airport plus taxi from Gare du Nord to reach it. It's a 15 min walk to reach the Seine and most of the "must see" cultural sites of Paris: or take the metro - Temple station is on the adjacent corner. Very friendly and helpful staff. Internet access is in your room. Rooms, including breakfast room and waiting area in foyer, are cosy rather than spacious. Breakfast is fine but doesn't offer fresh fruit - few do. "Chez Omar" Moroccan cheap eat is nearby for good vibes plus dinner. A very good stay.

Room size very reasonable for a hotel in Paris and excellent location. Friendly staff. Definitely will stay there again. Non-smoking rooms are available on contrary to other reviews.

In a good location, near to transport and excellent affordable restaurants. Compact but thoughtfully designed rooms and ensuites. Clean and well-maintained. Helpful and welcoming manager and staff. I can think of 2 improvements: tea or coffee-making facilities in the rooms or in the guest lounge, and an English-language newspaper in the lounge.

Very tidy room and serviced daily. Very pleasant well balanced breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Close to station and fabulous fresh produce Sunday Bastille market 5min walk away. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Small rooms, good shower, minibar (plug it in when you arrive!). Quiet room, even right on the street.

Good 2-star hotel: - were able to park our car each night in the hotel street - good beds and large bathroom with bath. - Good location close to Place des Vosges However: - no non-smokers rooms - no extra 2cnd pillow (pillow smelld smokey) - at front side some noise filters through from adjacant main street
