City Style & Harbour view
Only thing missing was heating in the room. View of city and harbour is fantastic. All staff very helpfull. Will stay again.

Great location, quite comfortable, good staff. We knew that car parking was $15 a night but felt that this was over priced when we found that it was not secure parking and the car park was quite open.
Very suitable especially if you are catching the ferry to the South Island the next day.
We have stayed at the Bay Plaza about four times now . It is great value for money centrally placed for either access to the city or strolls along Oriental Parade .

We stayed at the Bay Plaza for the sea and city view. The view from the 11th floor was fanatastic. However I recommend the windows to be washed inside and out regularly for a clearer picture. This would make a huge difference.

Rooms are showing their age but still more than adequate. Dining room service was exceptional. Enjoyed our stay and will return.
My daughter & I found the Hotel exactly as stated, & the pics as shown true to being as stated- a rarity often ! The whole experience there was so enjoyable that we plan to go again as soon as time allows . Congrats.Bay Plaza, you have our vote.
Bed was comfortable, loved the fluffy white towels. Only regret is that the water system?? was noisy through the night.

the hotel is in a fantasic location,but is tired and rooms are alittle run down ,I had to be moved as the 1st night the toilet malfunctioned and the second night the radiator banged all night but this was handled welland the second room was good. overall b- review but with a price advantage
Rooms very dated but clean tidy and reasonably priced convienient to the city.
The service from all staff was EXCELLENT. Our contact was mostly with the bar and restaurant staff who went out of their way to ensure our every whim was catered for.The food was imaginative, well presented and reasonably priced.We will definitely be visiting again.
