Stay was good as we arrived earlier than our check in time and staff were wonderful and let us check in early.Lovely breakfast, staff friendly. The only downside the bath filled as you had a shower and the water stayed in for quite a while. The ironing board was broken and you had trouble filling the kettle from the tap in the bathroom because it didn't fit underneath the tap. Some pamphlets in the room would be good for sightseeing purposes.Would stay again for the view.
Very helpful & friendly staff in all areas Rooms clean, bed very comfortable Breakfast great.
Had a great view over the harbour , and the hotel has good aircon ( which is needed in sydney as is very humid ). Located near lots of restaurants and a short walk up to the city shops and trains
We always stay at the Bayview Boulevard Hotel, because it is close to the city and transport. This time we had a beautiful room on the 17th floor with a bay view, so we could see the Queen Mary 2 and the Queen Elizabeth come in from our room.
For peak season in Sydney and the standard of the room for the price paid, this was a steal. The rooms are well appointed and spacious compared to most hotels. A full sized bath is always a bonus and the beds and pillows are comfortable. The Boulevard staff are always welcoming and extremely helpful. A lost mobile was found and returned. So close to the city and lots of places nearby with great food. Will definitely stay there again.
Front-desk service excellent. (Too often frustrating ommunications problems with overseas staff.) Entry and exit parking arrangements disfunctional. (Boom gates not operating properly.) Tap handle came adrift. Utilities cabinet unsatisfactory: fridge far too low. Cups too small. Need mugs. Room rates inconsistent. Initial internet booking through ''Rates To Go'': twin room, $190. Subsequent internet booking directly to Boulevarde: single room, $260 - although other rooms WERE available at $160. Nevertheless, overall, the experience was quite satisfactory
Very good value hotel, close to all amenities, very central, great room.
Well appointed room with all amenities. This was more like a 5 star hotel than 4.
I was very happy to be unexpectedly upgraded to a room on a higher floor - great view
Our room needed some care and attention. The meals in the 25 level restaurant were only average.
Good, clean and friendly hotel excellently located near parks, gardens, the harbour and the city centre.
Great week at this hotel, excellent location, room confortable of not exciting, slightly strane system at breakfast, gym not well maintained but enough for a basic workout, helpful staff, overall very sad to leave! Reasonable value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
Recently stayed at Bayview Boulevard Sydney Hotel, Cup Weekend. Well priced for the four nights stay, only 20 minutes walk to CBD and great pub opposite William Street.
Helpful, efficient and co-operative front desk staff. The price, though heavily discounted was alleged to include everything: breakfast, spa, gym & wi-fi internet connection. While every thing else was as advertised, there was a $25 daily charge for Internet connection which almost all hotels now include in the tariff. Further, there was no coffee machine in the room so coffee was just instant packets and then on a strict rationing basis. It's just stingy and made me wonder just who would pay $230 p.n. for a room with PAYG Internet, albeit with a great view, and that's after a 72% discount! It's very well located, however, and it's possible to walk to just about everything the city has to offer: restaurants, shopping, transport, museums, art galleries, bars, cafés, entertainment and night life. William Street is a very busy thoroughfare, and rooms facing it can be a bit noisy, double glazing notwithstanding.
This hotel was fine except there were no newspapers - not even in the foyer. Coffee in the room was instant whereas comparable hotels provide ground coffee. The availability of white bread only at breakfast was disappointing. However, the beds were very comfortable.
We stayed there for 2 nights in a Deluxe Harbour view room. It has a good view and we were very happy. Staff are nice and friendly, the room is clean. We are happy to come back again.
The people running the hotel were completely incompetent. It took an hour to check in and almost as long to check out. There was a serious breakdown in communication between staff who were unable to prepare our bill within a reasonable time frame. We were also sent to the incorrect rooms
facilities were OK, but front desk/concierge staff appeared young and inexperienced
