BayView Hotel Langkawi

not a bad hotel close to town and the food markets a wee bit run down but for $60nz including breakfast it was ok alot better then we were expecting enjoyed our stay there would stay again.

Room is relatively large and very comfortable. Price is value for money.

The carpets in the room and lifts and other exterior areas are old and mouldy - definitely needs replacement.

The hotel was very central in Kuah. The staff were courteous and helpful when an enquiry was made. The room was comfortable and everything worked well. We only got robes for the last 2 nights which was a bit strange. The breakfast was as good as you'll get for a westerner in an Asian hotel

Good well priced hotel - happy to stay again. Room large and well equipped, staff friendly, not far to Langkawi Plaza shops etc.

Large room and bathroom. Veiw over the water and boats. Close to shops. Pool closes at 7pm when still very hot, needs to close at 9pm. They close off all the seating area around pool, nowhere to sit out side and have evening drink with friends. Even though pool has lights, locked off. Breakfast ordinary, mainly asian food. Lunch and tea menu good. Good location.

I am very lucky to get the room upgraded to the executive room, and enjoy the business louge as well as the free fruit & minibar drinks. The hotel's service is fantastic with good location in Kauh town. You can enjoy many duty free shops and local sea food restaurants with walking distance.

the price for the quality of the hotel is too high. though the room is satisfactory, paying that amount for such room that claimed to be executive room (not much difference that i can see as compared to normal room) cannot be considered worthy. conclusion, not worth for the price. this room shall charge only in the range of RM200~250 per night. With the amount i paid, i could get far much better in KL, and cheaper even, eg. Hilton KL, Renaissance, etc. within city centre.

Very well situated Hotel if one loves shopping and walking in the township. Very friendly atmosphere and the services being provided with a smile. A good relaxing Hotel and it can be recommended.

In a word Excelent.Only need to improve Internet service at Room....:)

A perfect place to live when you are with your family, great location for your shopping and eating, if ever again i go to lankawi i would like to stay in the same hotel

Check-in was efficient, and no problem with the booking at all. Location is good and near to a lot of shops, though we rented a car and transport was not a problem. Need to drive for half an hour if u need to go the beaches. With adequate parking spaces free of charge. Free WiFi available in lobby only. Overall a pleasant stay except for a cockroach found running around in my room, and that the furniture is a bit dated. Guest from Hong Kong.

A nice 3 star hotel for tourists who want to be near the town

Pricing is very reasonable, will definitely stay again at Bayview Hotel Langkawi.

Dated hotel. Lack of service. More like 3-star hotel.

Overall, it was good. We stayed for 4 days and breakfast was almost same everyday and a little boring. Tried to use sauna and steam bath but took long ( 20min. or so) to get them started. It was not hot enough and disappointing. Good things are that room was clean and spacious. ( we stayed in executive sea view)

A nice and clean hotel with a very service-minded staff, but location is bad if you would like to go to the beach and relax. Nice buffet-breakfast and New Years Eve-dinner!

The service is poor because the staff there are not able to uinderstand and speak English on a very basic level. Also they are very mechanical when doing their job. When I asked for a third set of glass, coffee cup and toiletries + towels, they brought one thing and left out the other thing. Then they will tell you to call No. 5 (housekeeping) to order for it again. They do not take the initiative to get it for you. Finally after 4 tries, I finally got everything. Other than this small incident, everything works fine.
