"My sister and myself stayed at the Bayview hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of November 2008. We found the hotel staff friendly and helpful.Our twin Room was clean and serviced every day. The buffet breakfast gave a lot of choice including local dishes. The position of the hotel is great for most areas acess by walking, although taxis are cheap in Singapore .The Kopitiam just down the block from the hotel was excellent value for the local meals. The only downside was that the pool closed at 7 pm and that there was never anybody available on the bar." - Lesley Hughes
"Bayview is a nice hotel, It would be better that the pool was opened longer. It closed at 7pm. After a big day site seeing would been nice to have a swim as Singapore is hot and humid. There was a good variety for Breakfast. Staff were friendly. I would use the hotel again." - Brett McCauley

It suited my basic needs, however, if pressed to criticise, the en-suite bathroom could have been cleaner (around bath/shower area) and the towels provided were a bit frayed round the edges.
