Bayview On The Park Melbourne

We find this Hotel a great place to stay particularly when travelling with our 2 children and have stayed here several times before -. Bayview on the Park's reception staff are very friendly and highly accommodating. Well done!! The rooms are clean, with all necessary mod cons needed, gr8 views and easy carparking, plus the children love the pool and gym facilities. The location to the city is convenient & you can leave your car and easily catch a tram on St Kilda Road to take you to the city/theatres, restaurants, etc. It is an older hotel, but has everything you would need..We will be back.

Very easy to get to by car, with onsite parking too. The room was fine - my one niggle was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the room and the window cannot be opened to freshen it up. The alternative of a chemical masking agent (air freshener!) is even worse though - please don't do that! Cleaning it with Activeion technology will help :-)

Good value except for 2 complaints. Second Floor hallways supposedly smoke free with smoke free rooms smelt of smoke. Very loud noise like drilling possibly water hammer from the adjoining rooms woke me up and also disturbed me when awake. View of car park was better than expected no view.

Great price for the hotel with these facilities in Melbourne. Rooms are very dated. Great for parking if you have a car and within walking distance to a tram station if you have no car.

The view from our room was fabulous but we were disappointed with Hotel Club that we paid more than the brochure price of AUD$199.00 that we found in the Hotel Lobby. Hotel Club charged us AUD$226.86 for the Lakeside Celebration Package. The Hotel was clean and our view over Albert Park lake was amazing. We were disappointed that the champagne and chocolates "on arrival" had not arrived after 2 hours and we had to ask for them. This happened again with our champagne breakfast - again no champagne until we asked.

nice location. the movies chanel didnt work and they wouldnt fix it but other than that was an ok place

Was an enjoyable stay, and staff had excellent customwer service skills and serviced us very well. Three points of improvment would be that there was no microwave in ther room, not very many coffee choices available (only perculated) and the furnishings were a little dated. Parking arangments were very easy to access and a simple system to follow, and room service was very promt.
