loved the fact that the otel was full but it remained quiet, relaxed and very private. The outdoor spa was a fantastic treat even though I only got to indulge once...will be back for sure.

The B.W.Resort proved to be a fantastic location for our only 2 night stop on our recent trip from Christchurch to Auckland. Our room was clean & inviting, the resort grounds superb, & breakfast each day was great. We used the nice tennis courts, the fantastic 9 hole golf course, & the heated pool (which my wife says was a little too hot), and were very impressed with the Restuarant when we dined there. We found all the staff to be very happy & helpful, and we would love to bring some friends back for a longer stay next time. Highly recommended.

Overall a nice hotel to stay at. The staff were responsive to our requests and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is very good if you are intending on doing some mountainbiking. I hit the trails in Crators of the Moon and there was a trail that went straight from the resort to the ride. My one dislike about the place was the high price of internet usage. It seems to be a common theme in New Zealand Hotels to charge the patrons a lot to use the internet, which is a rude shock when internet is often provided for free in much cheaper backpacker and bed and breakfast type accomodation.

Could only afford to stay here because of [website] so really enjoyed the added luxuries and facilities. Heated pools and spas brilliant. Well equipped gym. Very nice setting, friendly staff, easy car parking,realistic prices in the cafe.

Bayview Wairakei Resort is a lovely recently refurbished hotel set in beautiful grounds adjacent to the thermal wonderland of Wairakei which is situated 10 kilometres South of Lake Taupo in the centre of New Zealand's North Island. The rooms are lovely and one of the highlights are the two thermal pools and a lovely complementary thermal spa. The signature restaurant is tasteful and spacious and we were very pleased with the evening meal we had there. We stay here for weekends once or twice a year and keep coming back.

Pleasurable stay
It was an awesome experience stopping at this hotel. The service and facilities were second to none. I would recommend this hotel to anybody especially those wanting a relaxing experience.
