"The A/C did not work properly, would be bad in the middle of summer.The unit lacked a full oven, only a micro wave. Parking is a problem as there is no assigned parking for each unit and there an not many parking paces.I had to park on the street on two occasions and the car was covered in sea spray.Great location and if you get a good deal,recommended. Rack rate for this complex is too high compared to newer developments nearby." - G Reed

"Rooms were small and quite dated. Pretty average for the price. Our balcony had a view of the ocean but was only 5 feet wide.. Just enough for two chairs. Facilities were good. Pool/Sauna/spa.. You have to pay $5 for the towels to use at pool area. Directly across the road from the beach and plenty of shops and cafes. " - Dale Boyd

From Brisbane Airport - Drive north along Gateway Motorway which will continue onto the Bruce Highway. Take the Mooloolaba turn off (after the Ettamogah Pub and Aussie World attraction). Follow signs to Mooloolaba then turn left onto Sunshine Coast Motorway and travel north towards Noosa. (Approx 20 mins. You will come to a Roundabout with sign saying turn right to Coolum Beach.Continue East along that road as far as you can go until you reach Esplanade (traffic lights)...Welcome to Coolum!!! Turn Right and about 3 doors along you will find BEACH RETREAT COOLUM - Enjoy your holiday. |
