Getting there:From Interstate 275 take Exit 17 (Pinellas Bayway) go west across the Bayway (toll) to St. Pete Beach. Turn right on Gulf Boulevard. Go north 2 miles to the Beachcomber Beach Resort is on the beach side of the island.

Ok for a one night stay but wouldn't stay for an extended vacation. Nice location right on the beach and nice staff, but rooms outdated and smelled a little musty. Room is very small and beds gave us backaches.
Overall a good value in a nice clean room with a great staff in a great beach location.

Privacy in the room, (curtains did not close completely) could certainly improve. If the rooms were more updated in terms of beds, carpet /tile, window treatment, the price would have been perfect.
Right on the beach. Has a fair sports bar and a beach bar with with live music. Staff friendly and price right. Rooms a bit dated but clean.
Older hotel but well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is lacking but available. Room was clean with no issues or odors. Grounds were well manicured.
If your looking for affordability and a great beach location look no further. The rooms meet your need as a place to sleep and clean up. If your looking for the WALDORF than pass buT I will tell you you are missing a great beach location. The beach bar and location on the Gulf will never be better. The staff is friendly and Sara you are the bomb.
Had a blast, Bathroom was a little small and beds were a little hard but had a wonderful time. Amenities were awesome and walking the beach was great too. I will stay there again
I had a fantastic time and i loved my room very much.I loved the beach bar and the service there.The walk way out to the beach is fantastic and in very good shape.I would suggest that they have the tall weeds between the bar and the beach cut down so there is a view of the ocean from the bar.There is a 7-11 right across the street in case you need something from a store.I have stayed at this hotel before and i will always go back.

We really enjoyed the pool and beach. The room was clean and comfortable even though it is an old hotel. We really liked the mini kitchen and walk in closet. our iron broke and they brought us a new one within 5 minutes. i will return again!
swam in the Gulf and sun-bathed watched the pretty girls (while wife was away)
Traveled to many local beaches, ate at many local seafood restaurants and did some tourist cruises -sunset cruise, dolphin watch cruise and island adventure cruise. Also checked out some local nightspots too.
great time staff and house keeping was wonderful frig was not cold only complaint . Grounds were clean and manicured
The lobby, courtyard, and swimming pools were beautiful. However, the carpeting in the room was worn and dirty, the bathroom was dingy, the floor tile chipped and stained. There was a crack in the toilet and also the bathroom sink. The worst part of the stay came from the unruly drunks who gathered outside their rooms in the courtyard during the night and from the constant procession of patrons walking to and from the beach bar. Apparently, the only access to the beach bar is through the courtyard or the parking area behind the rooms. I complained about the noise on three seperate occasions and hotel security handled the problem quickly.
Perfect location for beach and beach bar.
The Staff made this hotel! Very friendly, we felt like we were getting personal treatment. Location was perfect. We will go back again!
