Beacon Hotel Miami

My wife and I stole a weekend in Miami and returned to the Beacon after almost 9 years. The updates are great and the staff is very friendly. We will be back at the Beacon as soon as possible.

Good, overall. Small rooms, small bathrooms.Clean hotel, after renovation . Food is very good at the hotel restaurant , but pricey. Stay away from ocean view rooms( very noisy at night).

i was on your vacation with my girlfriend. It was middle on Ocean drive and the room was clean. So everything was pretty good for the price. I would come back again :)

the bathroom is to small, old, and corresponds to a 2 star Hotel. Therefore $ 280.00 a night is far to much.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms clean and comfortable and quiet even though it was in a great location on Ocean Drive.

Excellent hotel and great value for money, superb location in middle of south beach, good clean rooms and comfy bed.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Small hotel like all the others on Ocean Blvd. Rooms are small, but was tolerable. My room faced the back (no view) on the fourth floor and was very quiet. The hotel provides a free continental breakfast with fresh squeezed OJ in Johnny Rocket restaurant next door. They also provide towels for those who want to use the beach. Location is the best feature...directly across the beach. During the time I was there (mid January), the area two blocks north and south of the hotel appeared to be the most lively area on Ocean. It got considerably more quiet as I headed north. Better restaurants here, perhaps? In the afternoons, many of the restaurants offer 2 for one drinks, and 50% off appetizers. Not a great bargain considering the high cost of drinks (approx $11 for mojitos, $8 or $9 for a frozen drink or margaritas), but at least with the discount, it's not a total rip off.
