This restored 17th Century Beamish Hall Hotel is located in a secluded and picturesque setting.
Traced back to the old French phrase ‘bew mys’, the name ‘Beamish’ could literally be translated as “beautiful mansion”.
Beamish Country House Hotel provides a splendid venue for civil marriages, wedding receptions and conferences.

Getting there:

The Hall is located 12 miles north west of Durham City and 8 miles south west of Newcastle upon Tyne. It is close to the prominent tourist attraction, Beamish Open Air Museum, which is well signposted.
From the north or south, exit the A1 at Junction 63 (Chester-le-Street exit), then follow the A693 (towards Stanley) for 4 miles.
Follow the signs to Beamish Museum and at the main gate of the Museum, turn left and continue for another mile.
Beamish Hall is the next turning on the left after the sign for Beamish Park Golf Club.

Monday - Thursday check in is from 1400hrs and departure on or before 10.00hr.Friday - Sunday check in from 1500hrs and departure on or before 11.00hrs...

Capacity for 150 cars. No cost as it is our private car park.
