"The Beech Hill Country House Hotel is set in beautiful surroundings in it's own grounds. It would be a good location for a quiet weekend break. It's location is also very good for visiting Londonderry and the adjoining county of Donegal, with the towns of Letterkeny, Buncrana and Bundoran all with an hours drive. My only complaint is that we were given a room that also doubles as a Library, Conference room and Chapel / Church (the altar and various religous artifacts were still in the room hidden by a curtain). Unfortunately this marred our stay there. If offered this room please request another as we should have done.

Beech Hill Hotel is a 4 Star elegant and luxurious country house built in 1729. The house is surrounded by wonderful woodland with ponds and waterfalls. We are situated just 2 miles from Derry/Londonderry City Centre where you can enjoy shopping, the theatres and historical walks, and the warmth of the people. We are also very conveniently situated to explore the Antrim Coast and County Donegal.
Hotel offers its guests a mini spa with gym, sauna, steamroom and jacuzzi. Massage and reflexology ensure total relaxation and destress for guests.
27 well appointed en suite bedrooms, all individually furnished to the highest standards in decor and furniture. Four deluxe Suites are available, including 4 poster accommodation. Many rooms have views of the gardens and woodland.
The US Marines had their headquarters here during World War II. Ex President Bill Clinton, Tommy Hilfiger, Senator Ted Kennedy have all been guests at the hotel.
Our Restaurant enjoys fabulous views over the gardens alongside with French classical cuisine offering hearty breakfasts, lunches and lighter snacks and sumptuous Gourmet Dinners. Special diets are catered for. A superb Afternoon Tea is available in our Gallery Lounge served with homemade produce.

Along the main A6 Londonderry to Belfast road take the turning off at Faughan Bridge (Beech Hill signage at the bottom of the hill). Travel a mile further to Ardmore Chapel. You will see the Hotel entrance on your left, opposite the Chapel. |
