Getting there:Hotel is situated 400 yards from Oval underground station on the Northern Line. By Car: We are located just across Vauxhall Bridge if heading from the north, or near the end of the A3 and A23 if travelling from the south. By Bus: Bus 155 stops outside the hotel. Buses 36, 185 and 436 stop at Oval cricket ground, which is a short walk away. From an Airport: The major airports all have express trains that stop at underground stations. The Heathrow Express stops at Paddington station. From there take the Hammersmith and City line eastbound to Moorgate, and then take the Northern Line southbound to Oval. The Gatwick Express stops at Victoria. From there take the Victoria line southbound to Stockwell, then take the Northern Line northbound to Oval. The Stansted Express stops at Liverpool Street. From there take the District, Circle or Hammersmith and City lines westbound one stop to Moorgate, then take the Northern Line southbound to Oval.

The room was very small. The picture on the website are misleading as the hotel is tiny. It is a good location for Brixton Academy as it is situated right by Oval tube station. Our room was at the front of the hotel. on the ground floor and so the road was very loud and we could not have the windows open. All in all a good budget hotel. You get what you pay for.
refurbished in 2006, it has clean, modern rooms with flat screen TVs and tea/coffee making. Ensuite shower rooms are also fresh and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. small breakfast room, continental breakfast is fine. Very close to Oval tube, so easily accessible.
Nice clean hotel, strange looking from the outside, not what you expect from a hotel, but inside was clean but rooms were a littel on the small side.
We used the hotel as it was close to Brixton Academy. I would definitely use it again. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well equipped for a budget room.
