Nice good small hotel. Hotel staff is friendly & helpful. Most of the hotels in different towns are in good locations. Will use this hotel chain again in future.
Great value within walking distance of Hokitika shops, restaurants and galleries. I have nothing negative to say at all. Free internet was also a great bonus.

Very comfortable and friendly stay
This is one of the best motels I have seen in new zealand so far. Hospitality was so warm and required information was provided instantly. Only wired internet service is available ( LAN cable will be provided at the reception at no extra cost)
A well run, convenient motel. On a main road behind a petrol station so location not flash but the room was comfortable, its facilities adequate and the price very attractive. The simple breakfast options delivered the night before were basic but simple and sufficient. Within walking distance of some quite reasonable restaurants.

A warm welcome from the owner who took us personally to our room, which was light and airy with good, clean facilities. The hotel was situated very close to restaurants (an easy 5 minute walk away). The laundry facilities were also modern and available to guests at a reasonable rate, which we made use of. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The free wireless internet was a real bonus, the room was blessedly warm, the motel super easy to find and a short walk to the shops all made the Bella Vista Hokitika a place I would return to.
On Main Road but traffic noise was NOT a problem. A Queen studio doesn't give a lot of space but fine for just a few nights. Friendly, helpful manager.

our trip took us all over NZ, Bella Vista was "the best" accomodation fo cleanliness comfort and service that we stayed in. I am particular about CLEAN. I found Bella Vista lovely and fresh and clean and the proprietor was so helpful with suggestions on where to dine ect. Thank you........would definately come again....
Very friendly service. Small rooms but very warm and comfortable. An excellent spot to stop on the way down NZ's west coast.
Great reception upon arrival we were given useful information on local events and dining. Located on main road but not too noisy, close to down town so you don't need to drive. I would stay there again.
A great chain, and this was no exception. Clean, convenient, middle of the road accommodation. No hesitation in suggesting you stay there
