I went for Oktoberfest Just a short walk from the Munich train station. The area has alot of Arabs around it. Its in the redlight district so expect some scantily clad women at night but not pushy. If you go in, expect to pay 16 euros for a beer! When I arrived they did not have my reservation, though they were able to pull it up on Orbitz. Luckily they had a room. Though it was very small it had everything I require- bed, bathroom, locking door and a place to plug in my laptop. Its continental breakfast was pleasing and plentiful free wifi and worked well.

Belle Blue Hotel in Munich is a simple comfortable Hotel with all basic services and a friendly staff. The location is excellent, being so close to the Haupt banhauf.
