The Hotel Belle Epoque is located in the centre of Venice near the train station ( Ferrovia ) Santa Lucia and just a walking distance from St. Marc Square ( by boat "vaporetto" n° 1 or 82 along the Canal Grande). All the rooms have private facilities, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, air conditioning and are furnished in a typical venetian style. A panoramic elevator will take you up to your rooms. A few minute walking will take you from car parkings, bus and car teminal Piazzale Roma.

Very close to Piazzala Roma, god location. But NOT a few minutes walk from San Marco as I had read on servel hotelinfo sites. No free map for guests. The bar is closed, that´s a pitty because the bar is a natural meetingplace for the guests. I would stay there again. The lady in the lobby was very helpful.
Very good 3 star hotel near to the railway station but still with very nice surroundings. Beatifully redecorated inside in venetian style. A gem! However rooms have different size and single room can be small but still very nice.
We were a party of five and arrived very late on the first night, to find the hotel concierge more than obliging in every possible way. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast more than adequate. We enjoyed our stay and can strongly recommend this hotel to any family wishing to enjoy a lovely part of Venice in comfort.
We found this hotel excellent. The perfect location for a romantic stay in traditional Venice. Located a few minutes easy walk from the St Lucia station, the hotel is most convenient. The staff, the hotel & room decor and the quality of service are all first rate. A completely enjoyable experience.
We were presently surprised with this hotel! Not only is it conveniently close to the rail station, it was also the nicest place we stayed during our vacation. I would definitely stay there again.

The "Non Smoking" room stank of smoke and the smoke alarm had been removed. When the air conditioner (travelled mid summer) did not work, we were given a box of fuses to fix it ourselves!! Breakfast was excellent and the location made up for the poor service. Only minutes walk from Santa Lucia train station (main Venice station).
There was'nt any toothpaste given. We had to go out and buy one to use. Had to wait until the following day as the pharmacy was closed at the time. Breakfast was good and the staff in the breakfast room was really helpful.
Breakfast was very disappointing for a 3 star hotel. The range of food available was small, most of it was not fresh and was of a very low quality.
Having stayed in a quieter part of Venice before, this location was perfect for us. Initially a bit concerned that being so close to the train station would be a bit of a dirty, dingy area, but it wasn't anything like that at all. Just metres away from a main water taxi stop taking you to the main sights in minutes. Plenty of restaurants and shops on tap if you wanted to eat and shop locally. The room was really wonderful, good size, decorated in keeping with the city and overlooking the main street which was busy but the windows were so soundproof that once shut, we slept like babies. Breakfast was a bit on the light side and the male receptionists were whilst courteous and efficient, a bit on the grumpy side. We did see the hotel bar which was in reception but it was never open and the amount of ornaments on the bar itself suggests it doesn't get used much! But all in all, the room and the location more than made up for these and we would definitely return there again.
The location was excellent breakfast was excellent...the reception counter had 3 rude staff who were 50 plus.The people serving the breakfast including the old man there were outstanding.

The location of the hotel is great as it is really close and easy to find from the station. Rooms are quite small but nice.
Nice hotel in a very good location, only two minutes from the Vaporetto stop. The staff speak many languages and are very helpful.
