Getting there:- Motorway intersection Dresden/West(77b) change to highway A17 Direction Prag/Pirna - Exit Dresden/Prohlis(4) to S191 Direction Dresden/Prohlis - On the Kaufpark Centre after ca. 1,5 km left into Dohnaer Straße (B172) direction City (“Zentrum”) - After ca. 800m turn right into Tornaer Straße and follow the road sign (“Reick”) - You fill find the Hotel Belmondo Dresden after 400 metres on the right side With public transportion: From the main station by tram no. 9 direction “Prohlis” until station “Hülßestraße” (about 100 meters from the hotel)

Located in suburbs. With good transport to and from city the location turned out to be not the issue expected. We found the tram trip relaxing with some good restuarants along the way. Nice friendly staff compensated for location anyway.
Note that building works mean disruption to the main tram line used to reach the hotel; there are alternatives, but it does take time to get between the centre and the hotel without a car. On the other hand you have to ride the trams to get a sense of the spread out beauty of Dresden; and the hotel staff are extremely helpful & friendly.

Beautiful hotel and lovely rooms, very spacious and clean. Fridge in room was great to have and the staff very helpful and spoke good English. Very near tram to get to the centre of Dresden, which was beautiful. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Traffic a bit noisy if windows open for cooling - otherwise, a great place
18 mins by tram no.9 from station, or €12 for taxi. no direct tram going to hotel after 10pm. the hotel room was clean, but impossible to keep the washroom dry after shower.
Everything about our room and the hotel itself was great - clean, lovely bathroom deck. The hotel is a tramride from the city centre (good system) so you tend to do day trips into the city centre. Would recommend to others. Pricing a bit high but we were there over New Years!
Thr hotel is in some distance from the city centre, but there are good communication with street car. However, a car is preferable and parking at the hotel is free.
BELMONDO HOTEL was an excellent place to stay. it was minutes way from easy transportation that leads into the heart of Dresden. It was also easy to find as well. Very afforadable and great service. I would stay there again!
Not in inner city (but close). Right near public transport though. Service was fantastic.
