While the hotel is generally clean and well maintained, it could definitely do with a major refurbishment to make it into a very good hotel.
The rooms are 'snug' but comfortable. The rooms on the back over look the rail lines into Gare St Lazare which can be noisy at five in the morning.
The Berne Opera Hotel Paris is a superb 3* hotel in the heart of Paris. I would gladly recomend this hotel to friends and family. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will absolutely stay at the Berne Opera Hotel Paris on my next visit to Paris.
Simple, clean rooms with good facilities. Attentive staff. Cost is reasonable for the location and quality of rooms. Would stay there again.
Only possible thing of note was whilst the hotel had air conditioning fitted. There was no controls in the room to operate the system. Despite the weather at the time of staying really being in need of it. Good hot breakfast selection of srambled egss and bacon, which for Paris is much sought after. Plently of cold meats and cheeses, but no fruit available at breakfast, only juice. Otherwise a pleasant place to stay.
room was on the small side, but this was expected. Nicely decorated though, and we were fortunate to have our own balcony. On a fairly quiet side street. Breakfast was pretty good and in a quaint-looking cellar room.
My husband and I had a marvellous four day stay. Our room was small but very comfortable and the bathroom was quite big and extremely well appointed. The breakfasts were excellent and plenty to choose from. The Reception Staff were all very helpful and spoke excellent English. Rome Station on the Metro was just around the corner and very easy to use. The hotel was very well situated. Thankyou very much for an enjoyable stay.
Nice and comfortable hotel. Great location, walking distance from the Opera and there's a metro station just around the corner.
Very good clean rooms ,a little tight but thats on par for hotels in Paris.
Hotel very satisfactory only the 'hot breakfast' let it down. No variation from poor scrambled egg for duration of stay. Helpful staff all spoke English.
Pleasant Hotel very near the Rome Metro station (so easy access to all of Paris). Staff extremely helpful.
The hotel was a clean and efficient one. The breakfast room was situated in the basement but was very comfortable and the food well presented with a good choice. The staff were friendly and all spoke good english. The Rome metro station was about a hundred yards away, which was only five stops from the Arc de Triomphe and three stops from the Sacre Coer. Ideal for a weekend break and good value.
The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet location near the metro and montmartre. It was the perfect combination of residential life and social night life. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and a good size for the size--not huge, but not too small. Most of the clerks were nice, but some were a bit snotty. But that's to be expected with the French. Overall, it was an attractive, quaint place to stay.
