Bernina Swiss Quality Hotel

This hotel is very well located, just opposite to the train station. It's close to the shopping center, old town and has TRAM directly to the United Nation. The staff is very nice, thoughtful and helpful. We got free breakfast and the wifi signal in my room is fantastic. However, it's a little bit noisy,which might be the only bad point.

Right across from main train station, 10 min. walk to river and Old Town. Great location. Could be noisy if window open in summer. Rooms have fan, no A/C. Breakfast is ample, great croissants and rolls. For reasonably priced hotel in super location, this is a good choice. Would stay again. In general, Geneva hotels are pricey.

Ideal for the main railway station as it is just across the street. Room was ok but there is no extractor fan in the bathroom so the main bedroom gets very misty after using shower. Even though it is on the main road the window keeps most of the noise out. However the noise from a room next door is quite evident. The whole place could do with a lick of paint too. However they offer free wi-fi and a free Geneva public transport ticket which is excellent. However the Swiss Quality Hotel in Olten is sooooo much better.

The best thing about Bernina Swiss Quality Hotel is its location. It is in front of Train Station and very near to Geneva Lake and Manor Shopping Mall. However, rooms are very small and service is O.K.

Excellent location opposite main railway station and easy walking to the Lake and surrounds. As one should expect in Europe, the rooms were rather small, however very clean. The breakfast experience was interesting - staff treating us as naughty children. Plenty of eating choices nearby.

This hotel was perfect for our needs - centrally located, reasonably priced, very clean, good sized room, nice breakfast, friendly and efficient staff. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay!

Overall, this hotel more than suits my requirements, in view of my first visit to Geneva. It is within striking distance to the central railway station, bus and tram stations and a hive of activities within the vicinity. This hotel provides free daily ticket for the duration of my stay to travel by train, bus, tram and boat within the city limits of Geneva. Unlike other hotels during my recent tour, Bernina provides free internet access for the operation of my laptop!

Hotel location is very convenient. It's just opposite to the train station and bus stops. So you may hear street noise at night, but it's o.k. when closing window. It'd be better to stay in high level. Breakfast room is very crowdy, but staff service is still good.

In my two stays, service and rooms were very good, although one of my guests saying in a single room on the 1st floor complained noise until morning from the street bars.

Simple and functional, great location. Free wi-fi in the lobby is a big plus, my only complaint is the breakfast coffee. Too bad, it used to be better.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is right across from the train station, but also near most major things you'll want to see or do in Geneva. The rooms reminded me of dorm rooms to some extent with old furniture, but everything was completely functional and so as long as you're not planning on spending all day in the room, it's fine. (It probably won't work so well for a romantic getaway.) The bathroom was somewhat small (especially the shower), but again, met all basic needs of a tourist. The breakfast was not quite as nice as some other Geneva hotels I've tried, but it was still plentiful. The insulation on the balcony door kept street noise at a minimum. The free wifi in the lobby worked well, easily accessible with their password from your own laptop. While I've mentioned some things that may sound like turnoffs, overall I was extremely happy that I had picked this hotel and definitely recommend it for tourists in town just for a day or two.

Literally across the road from the train station so very handy if you're traveling by train. Walking distance from the Lake, Old Town and main streets. Inexpensive with large rooms.

Very close as promised to the main transport hub right over the road. There is also a smaller bus station that the tour buses use, a little distance away torwards the centre of Geneva. Easily reached by foot from this hotel, a good place to stay!
