Getting there:The Blue mountains is only 90mins from downtown Sydney and can be reached by car, rail shuttle and scheduled services. From Sydney by car the most direct approach is to head west along Parramatta Rd to the M4 motorway and joining the Great Western Highway to Katoomba. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very comfortable with a nice couch, good storage space, and it was larger than many hotel rooms. The bathroom was perhaps a bit cramped with no space to put your toiletries. It had a nice shower but no bath. Next to the hotel was a reasonably priced restaurant with very tasty food. The hotel was 10 minutes walk from the town and 40 minutes walk from the Three Sisters if you choose not to catch the shuttle bus in town.

A little out of town if thinking of walking fpr a meal fine with car
electric blankets kept us nice and warm but too close to highway.
a good clean motel except for most of the items in the mini bar being, on average, 8-12 months past their sell by date!!. this was rectified a little reluctantly at once and did not detract from the overall experience. try a meal in your room from the restuarant next door - wonderfull!! we WOULD stay here again.

The hotel is very easy to reach, directly at the highway. A very good and causy restaurant is next to hotel.
Great location and nice low price. Reception was helpful but open short hours only. No on site restaraunt, but Indian restaraunt right next door was fine. I'd recommend as a great place to stay as a base for the Blue Mountains. I'd go back!
Apart from the ordinary breakfast, everything about the hotel is very nice and perfect for a romantic getaway!
enjoyed the room and stay
We had a double room overlooking the main road and the railway. It had new double glazed windows which excluded the traffic noise. The pool facility has not been available since May. Our package included a continental breakfast which was delivered to the room each morning. The room was comfortable with a two seat sofa and small table with two chairs. There was a fridge, kettle and toaster. It was 5 minutes walk to the Edge cinema, and 10 minutes walk to the CBD. Would stay here again.
