In a great place... clean room, good staff, great place for a couple.
Not great staff, good location, comfortable and clean room
Very friendly staff and a superb location from all sorts of activities. Beautiful at night! Ver comfortable bed and a very clean but small bathroom. The area is one of my favorites in all of Amsterdam.
Although this was not the highest end hotel I have ever stayed at, the Best Western Apollo Museum Hotel was a quite good, respectable hotel. The staff was great and helpful at whatever asked. The room, though it was small, was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet too- which I did not expect, given that it's located on a busy street in the museum district. The hotel is conveniently located close to transportation and the museums (which is why I had originally chosen it) and this proved perfect. The only thing I did not like was the door on the bathroom being made of frosted glass (!!)- the frosted glass door provided NO privacy in that very small room. A bathtub would have been heavenly, rather than just the shower, as well, but I knew ahead that the room had just a shower anyway.
small rooms, but perfect for a short stay. Extremely clean and area is safe. Hotel staff is friendly, breakfast buffet is outrageously priced for just rolls and cereal - would not recommend eating it.
great hotel, extremely small rooms, but clean and livable for a short time. Internet included which is a plus. Breakfast is outrageously priced for just rolls, pastries, and cereal. Staff was friendly. Location was perfect, you can walk everywhere.
The hotel was in a great location, the bathroom was big and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. One staff person on the evening shift was great, but the rest of the staff was just average and we did not feel that they were overly helpful. I feel the room was overpriced.
I stayed at the Apollo for one night and really enjoyed my stay. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful during check in and check out, and they showed great interest in making sure my stay was pleasant. The room was small but was modern and very clean. Wireless internet was free and fast, and I didn't hear any noise from the street or from the other guest rooms. The location of the hotel is great- very close to several tram stops and buses, a short walk to bars and restaurants, and very safe. The hotel is in the museum district and is a great choice if you are looking to stay close to tourist attractions. I would absolutely stay here again when I visit Amsterdam again.
A hotel I can visit again.
We are very happy with our stay.
very modern clean facilites, a bit far from the central station but can just catch tram, expensive breakfast so go elsewhere for breakfast.
Good, but would appreciate kettle in room for instant coffeee or tea.
Very nice hotel, but small beds. The service inn the bar was bad! You had to ask inn the front desk for service.
Room was tiny but have to say clean as was the ensuite. The walls were a bit grubby also. The room rate was expensive for the quality of the hotel itself as breakfast was an extra. Location was in Museum Quarter and a tram ride from the Dam Square and Central Station. (Don't take taxis as they will rob you like they did to us from Central Station to Hotel 5min- €20) Staff were nice and friendly. Didn't realise at checkout that there was a tourist tax to be paid! This should be included in the rate (No hidden costs are preferred) Overall,
A modern glass bathroom but very impractical and water sprayed through the door joins which made the marble floor dangerously slippery. Very disappointed that breakfast was not included in the price. Euro17.50 each for breakfast is outrageous so we walked 3 minutes across the road to a cafe for Euro3.00.
Very nice hotel in a fantastic location. Currently doing work on the hotel so outside is a bit of a mess but didn't effect stay particularly
Very good location next to Vondelpark....perfect walking distance to cafe's and nightclubs:) Definately a good stay and clean with modern rooms!!
we love it every moment
I think the hotel is under renovation that is why we got a good deal for this hotel. It is quite a 5-star hotel quality and one of the best we have stayed in europe so far and it is situated near the branded street. Good for shopping.
The hotel was under renovation at the time of my visit, and so the public areas were in an improvised state. The rooms were very satisfactory and the whole deal was excellent value.
