"hotel advertised as air conditioned. Hotel told me when I raised this point that air con is switched off during winter months. not acceptable as web site did not state this. The standard room is too small and the room i was moved to had no cable tv and the wardrobe door was falling of and could become a trip hazard. i will never use the best western hotel chain again." - Anonymous
"The room was tiny, the tv would switch off by itself after one minute, the bed was small, so that feet would hang off. The breakfast is overpriced and not very good. However the staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is very good. I would only recomend this hotel as a last minute booking if there is no other choice. The hotel deserves 2,5 stars at most. Definitely not a 4 star hotel as they claim to be, and not worth their usual price. Even at 40% discount it still seemed to be overpriced." - Oleg Konovalov
"The hotel is wonderfully located, smack in the center of Paris, close to everything or within super easy access. The hotel looks very good but the room does not live up to the standard of a four star hotel: room is not soundproof and the selection of TV channels is too restriced. The people at the reception were very helpful. " - Anonymous
"Astra Hotel is in the very center of Paris, near Lafayette Galleries, Opera, Concorde etc. Even Mouline Rouge is in walking distance. Still, hotel rooms (std double) was very little and needs soon renovation.
