Best Western Carlton Hotel Blackpool Guest Reviews

3.8 out of 5

In general everything about the hotel was good but it was let down really badly by the size and facilities in the room. All very clean and tidy and the staff were really friendly, food was good but the room!!!!!! Far too small and too hot. No curtains at the en-suite window which looked right into flats over the road. Cold water tap had to be run for 5 minuts to get rid of the hot water before you could brush your teeth. Space for clothes mean you don't want to book for more than 2 nights as there isn't anywhere to put them. The room would have been a good single at best this is a tidy 2 star sorry Best Western

A good simple hotel. No extra's like sauna or so. Small but clean rooms. Breakfast is good also for a Dutchman like me. In the winter it is not so busy, so if you like quiet it will suit you. The people of the hotel are friendly. Second time I was there for a conference in the neighbourhood. We will come back next year.

This hotel is in a good position on the promenade North shore. It has adequate parking, which is a problem with hotels in the area. Rooms are clean, though small. Ask for a sea-front room, as the back of the hotel is a mess. Breakfast is normally a hot buffet, but if few guests are staying they cook to order. Note for Best Western members, that they refused to give me any loyalty points as I'd got a really cheap rate through [website]. The hotel has an Indian restaurant built on, and you can get Indian food from room service.

After we have been 4 years in the Imperial Blackpool, we were this year for the first time in the Best Western Carlton Blackpool. And we liked it. The personal service is better and friendly. The rooms are cleaner and look better. So we do come back in the Best Western next year.
