Best Western Colonial Palms Motor Inn

This Motel is in a very good location, just within walking distance to the main Airlie Beach. Had a meal at the restaurant, very affordable. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would stay at this Motel again.

Room needs updating, but beds comfy. Restaurant offers $2 steaks for inhouse guests which was excellent! Only provided with one small shampoo for 4 guests, but hosts happy to provide forgotten item (my son's toothbrush) for no charge. Washing dishes prior to vacating is expected or you will be charged!!!!!! Brochures outdated as lists some things that are not relevant or available any more.

Although a scenic walk up hill it takes a good 15 minutes to the main part of Airlie Beach, but there is a bus-stop nearby. We only had a one night stay and walked it twice. Accommodation is good with a nice lagoon type pool to relax around and restaurant serves reasonable meals for dinner if you are home after a big day out on the water. Continental breakfast was included in the rate but is basic, especially if you like drinking from big white mugs. Pleasant gardens & in-house movies.

only have one gripe we couldnt get aircon on, turned on every switch we could find had to get receptionist to do it. maybe a few words when we checked in would have solved problem

for an aprtment there wasnt much facilites for cooking eg no toaster no cutting board, crappy pan it could of been a little more organised

Loved the pool with shade and seating on a hot day. Room was very clean and comfortable. Intend to return when next in Airlie.

The rooms are clean & fairly basic but good value for the price and the facilities are good for the rating staff are very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again

While its called a motor inn - this used to be a Best Western Hotel. The location is good. Each unit has a view of the ocean through some tree foilage. Across the street they are constructing a multi-million dollar marine. A short walk gets you into the heart of the little beach town. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms clean. I would stay there again!

We used this hotel to stay in for one night prior to sailing on the Whitsunday's. It was great for that purpose not sure how it would far in a longer stay.

We were very happy with our stay and the facilities - it is about a 5 minute walk from the main street with all the shops in Airlie Beach, but a great place to stay all the same.

Approxiamately an 8 minute walk to the town of Arlie Beach. The accommodation is very comfortable and all lower rooms walk out onto the pool area. The service was excellent and very friendly and helpful.

A nicely positioned hotel with a great view of Airlie's bay and within easy walking access into town. Loved the pool atmosphere.
