Best Western Dauro II Hotel Granada

"When we arrived the taxi left us at the back door which was a bit off putting. However on entering the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. The reception staff were very helpful and the room (420) was a good size and very clean with a small private rooftop patio. The hotel is very centrally located in the old town with nice tapas bars & restaurants on the street. The bar / cafeteria attached to the hotel was good. Overall I would highly recommend the hotel. We went on the walking tour through the Albaicin area which was worth the €12 price - Plaza Bib Ramblas 11am. We also went on a Flamenco trip ( booked through the hotel at €28 each ) which I cannot recommend as the show was very short and a bit shoddy. "We stayed for two nights at this hotel and were more than pleased, It's location is dead centre and in one of the most popular dining steets of the city. Our room was spotless and quite large. The reception helpful and courteous and the bar staff excellent, breakfast also good. The only down side was that out of all the restaurants in that street, they simply dont take advantage of there postion, it needs jazzing up a bit, decent furniture etc however overall 10 out of 10" - graham cromack
