Best Western Domicil Hotel Frankfurt

Was only there for one night before flying out of Frankfurt, so chose this place for its proximity to the train station. But was surprised by how nice it is, clean, good amenities, comfortable. The staff was really great, helped us get around the city, find places to eat, and was all-around helpful and friendly. Despite the location of this (and most inexpensive hotels in Frankfut) in the "red light" district, this particular hotel is more on the edge of that neighborhood, and it can be avoided completely simply by turning right out the front door instead of left and walking up Landstrasse toward the city center.

The room was very small and although it was non-smoking there was smoke coming in via the ventilation system. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is excellent value.

a bit confusing it says mini bar complimentery but confused if you have to pay for it or not.also says cofee on tap 24 hrs a day but you have to try and fit the coffee,paid more for one room more than the other but exactly the same a bit cramped for a single room,also the bathroom smelled of grout

Located very near (50 m.) Frankfurt Main Train station. Just walk there after taking the S8 train from basement platform of Terminal 1 of Frankfurt airport (Euro 3.72 ticket - only 3 stops ). Hotel Domicil has been refurnished recently and is an excellent hotel value for money. Remember to book the air-cond room if you are visiting in summer. Otherwise you may be given non-airconditioned room which may be hot. The surrounding area is not too good - you can meet some drug addicts on the street & is near the red light area. Overall it is an excellent hotel.

Room very small with no space for a suitcase other than at end of bed which required me to step over it to get to bed.

Great location... 5 minute walk from FRA-Hauptbanhof, wonderful staff, super delicious and plentiful breakfast, fantastic price. I definitely will recommend to everyone.

This hotel is well located, close to the main railway station and, in one direction, close to the business district. However, in the other direction, it is also very close to the seedy, dirty red light area. The staff are conscientious, the breakfast (included) was excellent, and the breakfast (dining) room was pleasantly full of natural light. The staff are attentive, and readily provide all assistance. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but are somewhat outdated and in need of refurbishment. A real drawback was that there was no security safe in the room. Overall, I would say the hotel and service was good, and I would readily book again.

Had a problem with cleaning/room checking people opening the door and walking in without knocking and waiting for a response. People at front desk were great.

This was the best hotel we have stayed in this trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. The hot and cold buffet breakfast had a wide choice and set us up well for each day. The price was excellent for this grade of hotel. The location was within easy walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof which is only 3 stops from the airport on the S-Bahn and a few stops from the city centre. The only drawback was that it was near the red light district, but this did not cause us any problems. We will definitely be back next time we are in Frankfurt.

A good hotel within walking distance of most sights and close to a little supermarket and the main railway station. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was nice. Good for a couple of nights stay.

All rooms with showers - none with a bath. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. Excellent breakfasts.

Beds very hard small and uncomfortable, could do with coffee and tea facilities in the room, otherwise the hotel was 1st class.
